Whiff of Joy Christmas Blog Hop

Good morning campers!! Today the design team from Whiff of Joy are bringing you an abundance of inspiration in the form of our Christmas blog hop. There will be prizes, of course ;)

If you've arrived here from Lori's blog then you're good, but if not, then head back to Katharina's blog where the fun begins.

I have chosen to use Christmas Dancer and if you'd like a chance to win her leave your name in Mr. Linky below. Each of the DT members will be offering a prize and there is a grand prize too – a ‘Yearly Stampkit Subscription’ for one lucky person!!

Make sure you leave comments on all participating blogs, starting at Katharina's blog and ending at SplitCoastStampers.

I've trimmed my image out and adhered her to an oval which is matted with a scalloped oval. My papers are My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas, matted and stitched onto brown and cream cardstock.  To embellish I've used some flowers and pearls. The flowers have been given some Star Dust stickles for sparkle.

Your next stop on the hop is Sonja who has some more inspiration for you.

Don't forget to leave your name in Mr. Linky below to be in with a chance of winning this beautiful stamp. Be sure to comment after you link up :)

DT Quixotic Paperie - Sweetest Wishes

Hi everyone!! Man it's cold here today - 5C and raining heavy as we speak. Winter is definitely in, another couple of degrees lower and we'd have snow. Perfect weather for a blazing fire and a good movie :)

Today I would like to share a card I made using one of Some Odd Girl's rubber stamp sets - Holly Day Gwen which I have stamped onto Make it Colour blending card and coloured with Copic markers. Then I trimmed my image out and adhered it to the card on 3D foam dots.

The papers I've used are from My Mind's Eye and I've stitched them down onto teal cardstock. The sentiment comes with the image set. The gift is from another Some Odd Girl Set called Deer Mae.

To embellish I've just added some pearls, a flower and a button which I have threaded some Sew Easy fancy floss {bakers twine} through.

Have you entered this month's sketch challenge yet? The prize up for grabs is £15 gift voucher for the Quixotic Paperie Store. You can find the sketch and details HERE

If you've arrived here from Dena's blog you're on the right track - if not you can hop back to Ellen ♥ CardMonkey's Blog where the hop begins.
It is my pleasure to be a part of the CHRISTMAS is for KIDS BANNER HOP, where fantastic and generous crafters donated their talents, time and holiday banners to the children at Pediatric Specialty Care in Bucks County, PA. (See www.PediatricSpecialty.Com

On this hop, we have 34 generous hoppers who have created fabulous banners. Please scroll down for the full list of today's hop stops.

And there's BLOG CANDY to be had!!  THANK YOU to our generous sponsors who have provided prizes to those who hop along.

Here are our sponsors and their prizes:

One winner will receive four free digi-images of
their own choosing from www.MeljenDesigns.com!

www.HappyScrappy.us will provide one winner with a code
valued at $20 toward your purchase from their terrific site!

Beautiful ribbons, embellishments, charms and more are on the
http://meiflower.co.uk site.  They'll be giving a voucher valued approx $32 USD.

All hoppers are eligible to win.  Here's how:

Follow the blog and comment on as many projects as you choose -- the more blogs where you comment and follow, the more chances you have to win. There's just one catch: please actually comment on the project, which shows you've looked at the project, not just cut/pasting random comments ("CUTE! TYFS") only to win the prize.

Random.org will choose the winners, subject to verification that winners have met the above-stated criteria.

Waltzingmouse Stamps November SOAP Day 4

Welcome to Day 4, and the last day of the Waltzingmouse Stamps November SOAP. Today I have a mini album to share on which I've used St. Nick's poem from 'Twas the Night Before Christmas on my front cover.

I have so many bare chipboard albums that are crying out to be altered and I am determined to get them done. This one is from Basic Grey and you can find it HERE My papers are My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas.

See that lush ribbon on the front?? Well a very sweet friend sent that to me 2 yrs ago and it's taken me until now to use it. It's Stampin' Up ribbon and as I can't get Stampin' Up over here I have been hoarding it like nobody's business.

We hope that you have enjoyed, and have been inspired, the past few days from our Stamp of Approval Parade; highlighting Claire's lovely Christmas and holiday sets. Now it’s time for you to get your craftiness on as we invite you to participate in a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) competition.

At the end of the competition, one project will be randomly selected to be highlighted with a Parade of its own on several of the Design Team blogs.

We hope you will enjoy this competition and that it will inspire you be creative. You have one week to complete and link your project as the competition will close at 8:00 AM Claire’s time on August 10th, which is 3 AM Eastern, 2 AM Central and Midnight, Pacific time. Waltzingmouse Stamps November SOAP Day 2

Today is the second day of the Waltzingmouse Stamps November Stamp of Approval Parade (SOAP). Over four days the Design Team will be sharing projects made with any and all of the WMS Christmas stamps!

Today I am sharing a gift box I made from a plain metal tin.

I painted the tin with white paint before layering on some My Mind's Eye paper, transparency swirls and a sentiment from Seasonal Remedies that I had stamed with Brushed Cordoroy. I distressed the papers, and my flowers, with Antique Linen. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Craftts and they have also been inked as well as stickled for added sparkle.

The gift box holds some small chocolates but can also be used to hold notelets or small cards.
