Waltzingmouse Stamps "Some of our Favourite Things" Blog Waltz

Welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamps FAVOURITE THINGS blog waltz!!! You should have arrived here from Jennifer's blog, but if not, the whole list of participating ladies is at the bottom of this post so you can find your way!!

While Miss Mouse is busily preparing some amazing new sets for 2013 the design team thought it would be FUN to look back over the unique designs already in the catalogue. Each of us have chosen our favourite set to work with today.

We are also THRILLED welcome the former Mischief Makers to the WMS Design Team....  and they are playing along today!! Please do drop by their blogs to welcome them on board!!

I have MANY sets that I love, but today I have chosen  'Twas the Night before Christmas simply because I just can't get to use it enough.

I had this idea to alter a frame a long time ago but simply hadn't gotten around to doing it. I had all of the supplies stashed away so I pulled them out and I am so happy with how it turned out. To prepare the frame I first painted it white with acrylic paint and then covered it with patterned papers, sanding the edgers for a more distressed look.

I had some HUGE glittery snowflakes just begging to be used up. I chose a gold one, then added bare chipboard swirls and layered up flowers and flossed buttons on top to each side of the frame.

Inks Used:
Memento Black
Antique Linen
Fired Brick
Evergreen Bough
Brushed Cordoroy

Check out what the rest of the WMS DT have created for your viewing pleasure.... and next on the waltz is Becca Feeken!!

And here is the full list of Waltzing Ladies today....

Thanks for dropping by!!

Sandie this is so pretty I think it belongs under glass - so many gorgeous embellishments - I like the watermark stamps in the script - I can see this one coming out for its place of honor year after year!

What a wonderful framing of this lovely stamp set Sandie! Love how you stamped the wreath, the mouse and Santa on his sleigh along the text - and the florals on the frame are beautiful!

Wonderful! This will come out every Christmas. I really like this poem and I love the way you've got lots of the little stamps from the set decorating it too. Absolutely fabulous!
