Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday - Sketch

Eeeeks!! I'm late. This past week has just gone by in a crazy blur, I need an extra couple of days added to the week to catch up :/

We had a sketch to follow on Stamping Bella last week

and here is  my take on it, featuring Catherine Loves Chocolate

The papers are from Prima Marketing and I used one of the patterned papers for my image, leaving her uncoloured. I cut the circle opening using classic circle nestabilities. For the white frame I used a lacy circles die and then a classic circle die, the same size as the circle I cut in the papers, to take out the middle.

I cut the pennant banners with a scissors and added a twine bow. The sentiment and butterfly are fussy cut from patterned papers.

Check out the rest of the Bella Babes makes over on the blog. Don't forget to drop in Stamping Bella Facebook page for all the latest news, and the SB Sisterhood group to share your wonderful makes with us!!

And remember, If you want a chance a winning our monthly prize, just email your entry to Em by Thursday so that it can be included in the blog post :)

Waltzingmouse Stamps September 2014 Release Blog Hop

It's a Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Hop!!! For the past three days the Waltzingmouse Stamps design team have been sharing previews of the new products for September 2014.

We have three Winter themed stamp sets - Little Deer, Frosty in the Pines and Warm Fuzzies - and four Snowflake Dies - Snowflake One, Snowflake Two, Snowflake Three and Folk Art Snowflake. All of these products are available to purchase from the store at approx. 7.15pm GMT today.

I am first on the hop today, but you can find all of the release details over on Claire's blog. We have a fun giveaway that you don't want to miss out on.

My card today features Frosty in the Pines. I created a  little hilltop scene using some hand cut white card 2 of the houses from the set. The tree, stamped in Pine Needles distress ink, is also hand cut and mounted on 3D foam.

I also made a Gift Tag and this features some of the Little Deer stamps. I stamped the tree with Brushed Corduroy distress ink and cut it, trimming a little off the top as it was too long for my tag). I stamped the little birdhouse with Archival ink and used distress inks to colour it. I used the smallest of the new release Snowflakes and added some red Pearl Pen to make some 'berries'.

Next on the hop is the very talented Laurie

*All of our new release products will be available to purchase in the Waltzingmouse Stamps store at approx 7.15pm GMT today.

Waltzingmouse Stamps September 2014 New Release Previews - Day Two

Hi!! It's Day Two of the Waltzingmouse Stamps September 2014 New Release previews and today we have another Winter themed set to showcase  -

Frosty in the Pines

On my first card I stamped Frosty onto white card and coloured him up with Copics. Then I trimmed him out with the scissors. He's adhered to the card with 3D foam. I did the same with the pine trees. I added some snowflakes from the Snowflake One Die and used the Snowflake Three Die to make leaves.

On my second card I used all four new Dies - Snowflake One, Two, Three and Folk Art Snowflake. I embossed the background with snowflakes before adhering the die cuts down. The sentiment is cut from patterned papers.

Today we are previewing the Little Deer stamp set. We also have four fabulous new Snowflakes Dies - Snowflake OneSnowflake TwoSnowflake Three and Folk Art Snowflake

My first sample today is a little canvas art. I used mists, sprays, paints, pens and gelatos to create the scene. The sentiment is included in the stamp set.

Waltzingmouse Stamps / Crafting Ireland Guest Post

Hi!! I have a guest post over on Crafting Ireland featuring Waltzingmouse Stamps Midnight Feast stamp set.

I love Halloween and I love making Halloween things!! This is how I make some simple Treat Bags

Supplies:
White paper bags - 6" x 5"
Halloween themed patterned papers
Waltzingmouse Stamps Midnight Feast stamp set
Orange & Black ink
Midnight Feast Cut Files or Classic Circle Nestabilies
Stapler
Double sided tape

How To:
1. On each bag, in the bottom right hand corner, stamp the 'Eat It' sentiment. Set bags aside

2. Taking Peeled Orange Distress Ink stamp the circular sentiments onto white card and cut them out using Classic Circle Nestabilies, or using the coordinating Midnight Feast Cut Files

3. Cut patterned papers into 1" wide x 3.5" long strips and scissor cut the bottom at an angle to make pennants. Staple 2 pennants together, at the top, and adhere to the back of the circular sentiment

4. Once you have your candy/treats in the bag, twice fold the top down about 1". Remove the backing from the double sided tape and adhere the bag closed.

Cardz 'n' Scrapz DT - Enchanted Garden

Hi! Today I have a Cardz 'n' Scrapz DT card to share, which features Bo Bunny's Enchanted Garden paper collection.

These papers are amazing and, with a little fussy cutting, you don't need any embellishments.

The card is 120mm x 148mm kraft base with a 115mm x 143mm white panel.

The butterflies on the book page is from one of the papers in the pack. I used the same paper again and fussy cut the butterflies, adhering them just along the bodies so that the wings could stand up. I layered a Lacey Circle between the panels.

I also fussy cut some flowers on the banner and the postage from other papers in the pack.  Finally, I applied some liquid pearls around the card and on the Lacey Circle.

WOW! Embossing - My Favourite..

Hi! Today I am sharing a WOW! Embossing DT card I made for this month's theme which is My Favourite.... My take on it is to use my favourite things :)

My favourite colour is Teal, followed closely by Mustard so they are the feature colours on my card.

The card base is 105mm x 148mm. I layered on a white 100mm x 143mm white panel and a 96mm x 139mm piece of patterned paper.

I created a smaller panel using Sexi-Hexi with Gold Pearl (Regular) powder. I cut it down to approx 82mm x 126mm and matted it onto white card just slightly bigger. I used 3D foam to adhere it to the bottom panel.

I used the Gratitude set with Blue Topaz for the flower and Nutmeg for the sentiment ticket. Each layer is stuck down with 3D foam for lots of dimension, which is another favourite thing.

To embellish I added some Viva Decor pearls pen around the card.

Products Used:
Stamps: Sexi-Hexi & Gratitude
