Well, it's that time again!! Time for lots of wonderful NEW STAMPS at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! Get ready for our NOVEMBER 2012 RELEASE!!!!!

We are kicking off the *New* NOVEMBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our….TRAVEL TRINKETS!!!

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the TRAVEL Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on your cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

Today we have awesome samples that the Krafty Girls have put together for you....and be sure to comment on each and every stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN the new TRAVEL TRINKETS set!!! {And just WAIT 'til you see how they combine with our other NEW November stamps!!!}

Basic Grey Challenges - Three S's (Swirls, Scallops & Stitches)

We have a new challenge starting over on Basic Grey Challenges today, and the theme for the next fortnight is....

The Three S's - Swirls, Scallops and Stitches

My card today uses Basic Grey Figgy Pudding 12 x 12 papers. The stamps I've used are Holiday Ornaments and Compact Family Sentiments from Waltzingmouse Stamps. The sentiment stamp was actually Grandmother but I masked the 'grand' when I inked it up so that only MOTHER was laid down (I just liked the font of this particular stamp :)  )

Before stamping out the ornaments I cut the shape using Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments dies. I adhered the ornaments to the card with 3D pop dots for dimension.

We are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and the prize for one lucky random winner is a $25 store voucher. Please remember that you do need to use at least one Basic Grey product on your creation to qualify for our prize !

DT Quixotic Paperie - Little Darlings Tag Album

Morning!!! Today, over on the Quixotic Paperie Store Blog, I am sharing a quick mini tag album I created recently featuring the new Graphic 45 Paper Pad - Little Darlings.

This is a very simple album to create using just papers and a few embellishments.
Tip: Cover both sides of each tag and sand them down for smooth edges

Use smaller tags for journal spots.

Some word/quote stickers are an easy way to add a little extra. Naked chipboard works just as well as painted/inked chipboard.

Make the most of your paper by positioning them correctly before adhering them to the chipboard.

Use the other side of double sided papers, ripping or distressing them for texture. Buttons are always a great thing to add - floss them with twine first ;)

A fun album and like I've said, so quick to make too!!
Hope you enjoyed your visit here today

DT Quixotic Paperie - It's Beginning to look at lot like...

............CHRISTMAS!!

Oh my word, am I late with this one. The days are just melting into weeks gone by and there is very little being done :/ Today I am sharing a little CHRISTMAS inspiration with you and the stamp I am featuring is  from Saturated Canary and is called Trimming the Tree

I stamped her out onto Make it Colour Blending card with Memento black ink and coloured her up with copic markers.

I used one of the new Make it Crafty chipboard collections - Holly Decorations. First I coloured them up with copics then I heat embossed them with hologram embossing powder. They SHIMMER!!

I layered the image onto the card base with 3D foam for extra dimension. To finish my card I added a sentiment and some pearls made from Viva Decor paper pen - Opal.
