Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday - Photo Inspiration

I'm back with another card I made for Stamping Bella's Bellariffic Friday. Our challenge was to use the following photo for inspiration. I used the colours for my card.

Again, apologies for the poor quality photo; I am awaiting the arrival of a new bulb for my light tent.

On my card I have featured Peekaboo Bunny Stuffie, which comes with 2 sentiments.

You can grab our Stamp of the Month - Uptown Girls Clarissa and Camille Share a Cafe for 20% off for the whole month of December - no code necessary.

This week we have a sketch for you.

Stamping Bella - Coffee and Friends

Howdy!! Oh man, it's December 15th and I'm still in the throes of redecorating the house. Once I get an idea in my head to do something it tends to snowball on me so, multiple trips to the DIY store and IKEA later, and we're on room #4. As for Christmas shopping... last minute freak out will commence soon.

We're also having the most miserable weather for the past month or more. Wind, rain, sleet, more wind and rain :/ I need to replace the bulb in my light tent because the natural light is so dim and does not make for great photos.

I made this card a couple of weeks ago for Stamping Bella's Bellariffic Friday. Our challenge was an Anything Goes challenge and the Design Team all used our current Stamp of the Month - Uptown Girls Clarissa and Camille Share a Cafe

Therm-o-web iCraft Deco Foil

Good afternoon!! Today I am sharing some projects I made using Therm-o-Web products, focusing mostly on their amazing iCraft Deco Foils

The first project is a personalised Christmas card. To make the sentiment I simply printed it, placed the deco foil over it, sandwiched it in a folded sheet of printer paper, and ran it through a laminator. I was a little unsure of my laminator, as it's new, so I put it through a couple of times to make sure the foil stuck. For this technique you MUST used a laser printer, it doesn't work with any other type of printer.

Other products used
Card - Papermilldirect
Dies - La-La Land Crafts
Papers - Basic Grey Figgy Pudding
Ribbon - May Arts.

Next I made a card using the iCraft Deco Foil foam adhesive. Simply cut the pieces with your dies, peel off the top paper layer, stick the die-cut to the grey/dull side of the foil and burnish with your fingers. It's such a simple technique and works perfectly each time.

This foam is quite thin and cuts perfectly when used with dies, even quite intricate dies.

Other products used:
Card - Papermilldirect
Dies - La-La Land Crafts
Paper and Pearsl - my own stash.

Lastly, I used the iCraft Deco Foil Hot Melt adhesive to add a Rainbow crown to a shirt for my princess.
As it's my first attempt at something like this I was happy with the results, even if I didn't get it 100% right. I spent a lot of time figuring out the Silhouette settings for cutting the adhesive sheets and in the end I found it was easier to cut with the rough side facing down, as opposed to facing up as per the instructions. You do need to peel it off gently and it definitely would not work on a new Silhouette mat as they are too sticky. We loved making this shirt so much that I have another couple of projects in the pipeline ;)

Thanks for dropping by!
