Of course these cupcake boxes can be adapted to suit any occasion.

Christmas themed paper (used: Maja Designs)
Stitched Circle and Pennant Dies

Acetate (optional)

How to:
Stamp one reindeer from Mini Oddball and his Reindeer for each cupcake box. Color with your preferred medium and fussy cut around the outline. Set the reindeer aside.

4-3/8" x 4-3/8" - score at 1" on all four sides

Card Layers -
Box top -
2-3/8" x 2-3/8" (1) - top
2-3/8" x 2-1/8" (2) - front and back
2.25" x 2" (1) - sides

Paper
Box top -
2.25" x 2.25" (1) - top

2-1/8" x " 1-7/8"(1) - sides

Box bottom -
2-3/8" x 2-1/8" (3)

Cut one of the 7" x 7" pieces as shown below for the box bottom

Cut the other 7"x7" piece as shown below for the top of the box.

Cut the 4-3/8" x 4-3/8" piece as shown below, then cut out a circle from the centre panel. The circle needs to be big enough to place the cupcake into it.

Adhere the front and top panel to the box top.

Apply adhesive to the inside of the bottom outer sections and adhere to the outside of the outer middle panels. The panels on the outside will be shorter but will be cut down and covered.

Cut diagonally from the bottom of the box front up to the score line at the back.

Cut the card and paper pieces for the side panels diagonally and adhere the paper to the card.

Adhere the side panels to the box top.

On the bottom section of the box, adhere the side paper panels and the front paper panel.

Apply adhesive to each of the outer tabs and adhere to the inside of the adjacent panels to make the box shape

Place the box top onto the bottom

Apply adhesive to the inside of the flap on the top and adhere to the back of the box bottom. Once that is secure, adhere the paper/card panel over it.

Fold down the 1" sections of the 4-3/8" x 4-3/8" piece of card and insert into the box.

Place the cupcake into the holder.

*Alternative - cut a circle in the top of the box and adhere a piece of acetate to the inside so the cupcake can bee seen through the box.

Cut a 2" stitched circle from card and a 1.75" circle from paper and adhere them together. Adhere the reindeer to the front of the circles using foam tape/dots, them adhere the circle to the front or top of the box as desired - also using foam tape/dots.

Stamp a sentiment from the Festive Oddball Sentiment Set  and cut out using a pennant or bookplate die. Adhere to the box with foam tape/dots and decorate the box as desired.

Sending You Mistletoe Kisses | Stamping Bella

Hi! It's Thursday and that means another Stamping Bella tutorial! Today I'm sharing how I made this Card and Gift Box Set featuring The Gnome and the Mistletoe. If you are using this box to gift a set of cards, and using foam tape on the front of the cards, then I would suggest a maximum of 4 cards so they are not squashed in. The cards are not standard size, but you can adjust the measurement if you want to do standard size cards.

Supplies:
Cardstock
Designer papers (used: Maja Designs)
Stitched Circle, Stitched Pennants, and Stitched Hills Border Dies
Scoring board and bone folder
Adhesives and foam tape/dots
Magnets

How to:
Stamp 1 Gnome for the box, and 1 for each card you are putting into the box, onto white card and colour using your preferred medium. Fussy cut around the outline and set aside.

For the box base cut one piece of card measuring 8" x 8.5" and one piece measuring 4" x 8"

Score the 8" x 8.5" at 5.5" and 6.5" on the long side and 1", 2", 6" and 7" on the short side.

Score the 4" x 8" piece at 5" and 6" on the long side.

Cut away the outer 3 sections of each corner on the 8" x 8.5" piece, as shown. Cut the remaining 1" section horizontally and taper each side of it. Repeat this on both sides.

Round the edges of the 2" section at the bottom.

Take the 4" x 8" piece and round the edges of the 5" section. This is the front flap.

On the 4" x 8" piece, cut a tiny sliver of card on each side of the 2" section, up to the score line. This ensures it will fit neatly in between the score lines of the larger piece.

Adhere the 2" section to the inside top of the larger piece of card.

Front bottom, front top and back of box:
Cut one piece of white card measuring 4-7/8" x 3-7/8" (front top), another at 1-7/8" x 3-7/8" (front bottom), and another at 5-3/8" x 3-7/8" (back) Cut paper measuring 4.75" x 3.75" (front top), 1.75" x 3.75" (front bottom), and 5.25" x 3.75" (back). Round the edges at the bottom of the front top pieces and the top of the front bottom pieces. Adhere the paper to the card.

Inside:
Cut paper pieces measuring 5-3/8" x 3-7/8", 5-3/8" x 7/8" (2), and 3-7/8 x 7/8". Adhere as shown.

Outside:
Adhere the back panel in the centre.
Also cut white card for the four sections around the centre measuring 5-3/8" x 7/8" (2) and 3-7/8 x 7/8" (2). Cut paper at 5.25" x 0.75" (2) and 3.75" x 0.75" (2). Adhere the paper to the card and adhere them to the box base.
For the two outer long sections, cut paper pieces measuring 5-3/8" x 7/8" (2). Adhere as shown.

Apply adhesive to the outside of the 1" tabs and adhere them to the inside of the adjacent long section to make a box shape.

Apply adhesive to the inside of the bottom 2" section, only to the width of the side sections. Fold up the bottom and adhere to the sides, ensuring all angles are square.

If your magnets are not self-adhesive, apply a glue dot to one and adhere in the centre of the 2" bottom section, approximately 0.75" down.

Apply a layer of double sided tape over the magnet to secure it further.

Adhere the paper/card panel over the magnet, then place the other magnet sitting on it. Apply a glue dot to the top of the second magnet, fold down the top front of the box and adhere the magnet to it. Again, place a strip of double sided tape over the magnet to ensure it stays in place.

Cut a piece of paper measuring 4-7/8" x 3-7/8", round the top corners, and adhere over the magnet.

Adhere the front outside panel.

For the box and each card:
Cut stitched circles measuring 3.75" (red card) and 3.5" (paper), and cut 2 long stitched pennants - one from red card and one from contrasting paper.

Use the stitched hills border dies and white card to make snow drifts and adhere to the bottom of the stitched circles.

Adhere one of the circles to the box front using foam tape and then adhere the pennants as shown.

Finally, adhere the Gnome to the circle panel.

The matching card measures 3-7/8" x 5.25".
Card base: 3-7/8" x 10.25" - scored at 5.25"
White panel: 3-3/8" x 5" - embossed at 1/8" on all sides
Patterned paper: 2.5" x 3-3/8"
Sentiment strip: 3.25" x 0.75"
The circles panel and sentiment strip have been adhered using foam tape.
