Tickled Pink Stamps sponsors The Corrosive Challenge and Crafting When We Can

This week at Tickled Pink Stamps we are sponsoring TWO challenges - The Corrosive Challenge where the theme is "The man, the myth, the legend - Tim Holtz" (use at least one TH product on your creation) and Crafting When We Can where they have a fabulous sketch for us to play along with. I .. erm.... forgot the sketch but if you squint, turn your head sideways, close your left eye and stare for about 15mins you would almost think I had used it.... :P

When I think of Tim Holtz it's always a tag that springs to mind. I've used my 'Tims Tags', distress ink and a Tim Holtz sentiment.

My fabulous image is Lil Victorian Steampunk Lad Luca and he's been coloured up with copic markers.

Tickled Pink Stamps sponsors Paper Sundaes Challenge

Hi everyone!! Happy Easter Sunday. There are chocolate eggs in abundance in my house today and as I'm not a fan of chocolate I'm not impressed, however the kids think it's fantastic, lol.

Tickled Pink Stamps have the pleasure of sponsoring Paper Sundaes new challenge beginning today, and the theme is to use at least 2 of the following supplies -
  • Kraft
  • Die Cuts
  • Lace
  • Charms

On my tag I've chosen to use Lil French Lolita Lilith from the Around the World range of images, and I've coloured her to mimic a mime - except I didn't do the white face ;) From the challenge list I've picked kraft for my sentiment and an Eiffel tower die cut.

To embellish I added some pearls and flowers - no project is complete without them ;)

Other challenges -
Drunken Stampers - You are a Krafty One
Bloggers - "Die" For
Delicious Doodles - Textures

Tickled Pink Stamps sponsors Crafting For All Seasons

Hi everyone. I am a busy bee this week. I was asked to make some Christening invitations and I said "Of  couuuuuuuurse I will. noooooooo problem.. how many do you need?" .. I almost fainted when they said 30! I was thinking maybe 15-20 at MOST!!! So I came up with a pretty CAS design, but it did involve a lot of cutting and embossing. I will share them here on my blog soon.

This week Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Crafting For All Seasons Challenges and they have a colour combo to follow this week - Green and Yellow. All you have to do is play along for a chance to win a Tickled Pink Stamps prize.

For my card I used Lil Fashionette - 20's Evie and coloured her up with copics, to suit the colour combo. My papers are Memory Box - Minuet, matted and stitched to green, white and yellow cardstock. I added some coordinating flowers, yellow gingham ribbon, a lace doily and some pearl swirls for embellishment.

Tickled Pink Stamps sponsors Divas by Design

Good afternoon!! This week's challenge over on Divas by Design is being sponsored by Tickled Pink Stamps. Some of the Tickled Pink Stamps design team are playing along with their challenge - which is Anything Goes.

I made a tag using one of the new Gods/Goddesses stamps -Athena Lilith.

My papers are Basic Grey Indie Bloom. The lace was the last piece I had stashed away - time for a spree methinks!

I've used copic markers to colour Athena Lilith, then trimmed her out and mounted her on 3D foam dots. The sentiment is from a set of inspirational quotes I recently got. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Don't forget to check out the Tickled Pink Stamps blog and the Divas by Design blog to see what everyone else has created.

Thanks for stopping by!

I do hope you're sitting comfortably....

.. because guess who's playing catch up a-gain! One or other of my kiddos has been sick since last Wednesday and although I am getting some crafty time, blogging time is limited! So while hubby is amusing the latest casualty to the virus picking on my family I am blogging quickly and trying not to get sidetracked :)

Oh, and of course it's never a completed week without some form of a drama like.. say... the memory card in your camera dying right after you photo a whole tutorial.... won't go there right now!

Soooooo, I have a *few* cards to share....

First up - Color Me Creative
Man this is late, there are only a few more days left on this challenge, which is Vintage/Distressed. The Prize for the winner of this challenge (randomly chosen) will get 3 Magnolia Stamps of their choice from Magnolia-licious and 1 pack of Cryogen Cardstock.

And each month one winner is chosen to receive a $50 gift certificate from OOZAK.

As you may or may not know, Suzanne {owner of Colour me Creative} runs online copic classes filled with wonderful tips and techniques. However, if you want to learn to colour using your copics and live near San Jose, CA you could be lucky enough to be able to attend one of Suzanne's classes. There are only a couple of spaces free on October 22nd and 23rd. Click here for more information. I so wish I lived close enough :(

I am entering this card into the following challenges -
Just Magnolia - Anything goes with option of coffee and cream
Crafty Cardmakers - Anything Goes
Heart Song Inspirations - Use Die Cuts and/or Sponged Backgrounds

This one is called From Heaven Above. I've coloured with copic markers and sponged the background. I made the holly leaf tab using the Banners Trio dies.

The papers are from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas 6x6 paper pad. I added some stardust Stickles to the wings - no wings are complete without it :)

This next image is called A Boy and his Star. Again, I used copic markers and created my background by adding little dots around the image.

I have no clue what brand the papers are, I bought a bunch of loose 6x6 sheets. I added some blue organza ribbon, blue bakers twine and a winter charm for embellishment.

Challenges -
I Did It Creations - Anything Goes

The background stamp is by Paper Makeup Stamps and the papers are from My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found - Rosy collection. I coloured my image with copic markers and added some star dust Stickles to the frill on her dress. Then finished off with pearls, Cherry Red bakers twine and a punched butterfly for embellishment.

The 'Admit One' stamp is from Tim Holtz. I had lost it, but it turned up stuck to the side of my clear copic marker storage, lol. The 'Believe' disc is also from Tim Holtz's collections and the clock charm is one I picked up at the NEC last year.

I do believe that's it! lol. If you are still with me, thank you for sticking it out.

Back tomorrow with my card for the Swimming for Katie Fundraising 3 Day Blog Hop.
Have a great day
