I made a banner with my MiC goodies. I've also used some fabulous Make it Crafty Chipboard embellshiments from the Christmas Borders and Cog Snowflakes collections.

The whole banner..

I made the rosettes on each of the circles by cutting a 1.5" x 12" strip of patterned paper and scoring it at every 0.25inches - it was one of those ideas that seemed great at the start but by #5 I was questioning my sanity!! lol.

The Merry & Bright title is made from white foam Thickers.

Well that's it from me today. I hope you enjoyed today's window & good luck!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps December Release Previews Day One

We've got lot of amazing new stuff at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! for our final release of 2012!! Get ready for our DECEMBER 2012 RELEASE!!!!!

We are kicking off the *New* DECEMBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our GORGEOUS….CIRCUS TRINKETS!!!

What a FUN set of awesome new stamps....and I don't suppose it's going to be too hard to figure out what theme one of the artists worked with this month, hunh??

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the CIRCUS Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on your cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

Today we have awesome samples that the Krafty Girls have put together for you....and be sure to comment on each and every stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN the new CIRCUS TRINKETS set!!! {And just WAIT 'til you see how they combine with our other NEW December stamps!!!}

Happy kraftin'!

Waltzingmouse Stamps December Release Blog Waltz!

Hello and WELCOME to the Waltzingmouse Stamps December Release Blog Waltz. You should have arrived here from Bonnie's Blog, but if not and you'd like to waltz with us, then head over to Claire's Blog where the fun begins.

Over the past three days the Design Team have been showcasing these amazing sets which will be available in store today - Woodgrain Backgrounder Set, My Heart, Woodgrain Alphabet & Ornate Ornaments - and today we have more inspiration for you!!

My first card today features My Heart, a stamp set full to the brim of wonderful mix and match hearts & sentiments, and which coordinates perfectly with the Woodgrain Sets.

I stamped the heart and  sentiment onto white card and trimmed it out with a scissors. I used Stampin' Up Mellow Moss and Melon Mambo inks. For the kraft frame I cut out a scalloped rectangle using Nestabilities and then taking a craft knife and a steel ruler I cut out the middle. Then I adhered contrasting paper to the back of the rectangle before adhering it with 3D foam strips.

I also used 3D foam dots to adhere the heart to add even more dimension to the card. To embellish I've added some flowers, pearls & blue twine.

My second card features two of the new release sets - Woodgrain Backgrounder Set and Ornate Ornaments. I used Stampin' Up Pretty in Pink and Antique Linen Distress Inks for the background.

I heat embossed the ornament with Metallic Blue embossing powder and I used Heirloom Ornament Nestabilities to cut it out. I added some white snowflakes and a button flossed with baker's twine to embellish.

Both the woodgrain background and the ornament are mounted on foam dots for dimension. The white border was puched out using Martha Stewart Antique Lace punch.

There will be a prize of a stamp set of choice from a random drawing from comments left on each of the DT blogs. You have until December 3rd 11:59 PM (GMT), (December 4th) 5:5 9AM Central, 3:59 AM Pacific and 6:59 AM Eastern to leave comments. The winner will be posted on Claire’s blog on Wednesday, December 5th.

Next stop on the waltz is Julia's Blog!!

Happy Waltzing!!

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday - Paper Piecing

We have a new Inspiration Friday for you over on La-La Land Crafts. This week we want to see Paper Piecing on your projects.

(Papercraft paper piecing involves cutting pieces out from a design and layering them on paper. This is a versatile technique and easily adapted. Rubber stamps designs are often used for paper piecing projects. A design can be stamped several times on a piece of paper and then these can be cut and adhered to a project. )

My card today features Kimono Marci

I coloured her up with Copic Markers and paper pieced the kimono using Bo Bunny papers.

Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair - C1, 100
Parasol - E93, E95, E97. E31, E33, E35

I trimmed out all of my images and adhered them to my card on 3D foam dots. Kimono Marci comes with coordinating sentiment and accessory stamp.

We would love to see your La-La Land Crafts creations!! Be sure to link them up to the Customer Gallery for a chance to win a prize.

Don't forget to check out the La-La Land Crafts Company page and Group page on Facebook. We also have a twitter feed! If you haven't joined our groups yet, you might want to think about it because these are the places Irina announces special sales! :)

Waltzingmouse Stamps December Release Previews Day Three

Wey hey!! Welcome to Day Three of Waltzingmouse Stamps December Previews. Not long to wait now, all  of the new sets will be released tomorrow @ 7.15pm GMT!! Do you have a favourite set yet? I just love love love them all but Woodgrain Backgrounder Set is one I know I will reach for time and time again!! Be still My Heart.. lol, another set that will see plenty of ink for sure :D

Today we are showcasing another amazing set - Ornate Ornaments!! It would not be Christmas without some new ornament stamps, right?!! And yes, these coordinate with the 2010, 2011 AND 2012 ornament Nestabilities too!!

I just adore the hanging ornament technique on cards and couldn't resist doing it on my cards today.

I used Stampin' Up Mellow Moss ink to stamp out my ornament and used the 2011 Ornament Nestabilities to cut it out. Once I had my card layerd up I adhered some button twine with fabri-tac glue.

For my second card I used the same stamp to create my background and featured image. The background was done using Scattered Straw Distress inks and the featured ornament was stamped with Stampin' Up - Ruby Red. I {heart} the font on this sentiment SO MUCH!!

Check out the amazing samples from the rest of the DT -
