Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May Previews and Sketch Challenge

Good afternoon bloggers! Well it is for me :D We are in the throes of preparing for 1st Communion tomorrow and my little man is SOOOOOOO excited. I have NO doubt that pandemonium will break out tomorrow morning, as we need to be in church by 9.30am. Hey ho.. we'll take it one clock tick at a time and make sure he has a good day!!

Anywhoooo, down to business -

We are on day four of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May previews and the new challenge kicks off over on the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge blog. The Krafty Girls are previewing the WONDERFUL new stamps by Annie Rodrigue today and some of you may just recognise one of the images I have used on my card. Yes, it's Nurse Nightingale. For those of you who missed it, Annie drew Nurse Nightingale LIVE and we all watched her do it, it was just AMAZING!! to see an artist at work.

Ok, so my cards is VERY loosely based on the sketch but if you look long and hard enough you will see the similarities :/ I masked Nurse Nightingale and stamped Under the Weather to create the 'scene'. I love the look on his face - PRICELESS!! lol.

Now go check out the rest of the Krafty Girls have come up with. You can see them all HERE on the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog. Don't forget to comment as you go because TWO very lucky random people will win THREE STAMPS EACH!!!

Have a great day
Sandie

This is just stinking adorable! This would certainly bring a huge smile to anyone who is sick. I love how you colored the quilt, very bright and cheerful. Also love the blue dress and white apron on the nurse - traditional. The lace dollie is a sweet touch. This card just ROCKS!

Wonderful card combining two of the great new stamps. Great coloring and design.

He looks flat-out terrified and rightly so. She looks a bit too happy to be giving him that jab!
