Little Bits Fairies Twist & Fold Card | Stamping Bella

Hi! Today I'm sharing a tutorial I created for Stamping Bella's Tutorial Thursday. I made a Twist and Fold card featuring the Little Bits Fairies stamps and dies, along with a sentiment from the Unicorn Sentiment set. My daughter kindly demonstrated how to fold this card, in the video below.

In case you missed it, Stamping Bella is having a clearance sale (to make room for NEW goodies!!) and these stamps are heavily discounted. Everything is selling out fast, so be quick if you want to nab these at a fantastic price. Sadly, Dies are being discontinued to when they're gone, they're GONE!

Supplies:
White card
Patterned paper
Scoring board and bone folder
Adhesive
Foam tape

How to:
Cut a piece of card measuring 8" x 8".
Score it at 2" and 6"
Flip the card 90 degrees and score at 2" and 6"

On all four sides, score at 4" down to the intersecting scoreline (2" mark)

Using a ruler and scoring tool, make diagonal scorelines in the centre square as shown.

Fold all the scorelines carefully. Fold the outer sections back and forth to loosen the card to make it easier to fold up.

Fold as per the video below

Once folded, crease all the scorelines well.

Cut four squares of patterned paper measuring 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" for the card front.

Cut one square of patterned paper measuring 2.75" x 2.75" for the inside centre panel.

Adhere the paper squares to each section of the front.

Stamp each of the fairies onto white card and colour using your desired medium.

Cut the fairies out using the coordinating CUT-IT-OUT Dies, or fussy cut with a precision scissors.

Cut four circles approx 1.75" in diameter.

Adhere the circles to each panel on the card front (I decided to only use two at this point)
Stamp the sentiment and cut out in strip or use a pennant die.

Cut a piece of white card for the inside centre panel, measuring 2.5" x 2.5". Adhere one of the fairies using wet glue or double sided tape.

Adhere the other fairies to the front of the card.

Peony Baby Spinner Card | Stamping Bella

Today I am sharing an interactive card I made for Tutorial Thursday over on Stamping Bella. I've seen quite a few of these cards around but I've never made one before. They are quite fun and really easy to make.

One tip I have for when you're making these type of cards is to use foam tape thick enough to lift the card front, so that the coin can move around easily.

Supplies:
3.5" circle die
2.75" circle die
Double sided tape and foam tape/dots
White card
Clouds stencil
Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink
2 coins (approx 0.8")

How to:
Cut a piece of white card measuring 5" x 5". Using a clouds stencil and tumbled glass distress oxide ink, create a background, leaving approx 1.5" - 1.75" at the bottom white.

Place the 3.5" circle die on the card front and place the 2.75" circle die in the centre of it. Secure them with a piece of low tack tape.

Cut out using a cuttlebug or similar.

Stamp the butterfly from the Little Critters onto white card and colour using your desired medium.

Cut the butterfly out using the coordinating CUT-IT-OUT die or fussy cut with a precision scissors.

Stamp a sentiment on the bottom section of the card front.

Cut a piece of card measuring 5.25" x 10.5" and fold in half to make a 5.25" square card base. Adhere the card front using foam tape/dots. Leave enough room around the circle for a coin to move freely around it.

Place a coin slightly under the outer circle.

Again, apply foam tape/dots to the back of the smaller circle, making sure not to go to close to the edges and adhere over the coin in the centre.

Stamp Peony Baby in a Pot on to white card and colour using your desired medium. Cut out using the coordinating CUT-IT-OUT die or fussy cut with a precision scissors.

Adhere the image to the centre circle.

Cut a small square of foam tape and apply it to the centre of the coin.

Adhere another coin on top.

Apply double sided tape to the top of the coin and adhere the butterfly to it.

As you move the card around the butterfly circles the image.
