DT Make it Crafty - Season's Greetings from Tinkles

Today I want to share a Christmas card I made featuring Tinkles from Make it Crafty's Christmas Elves Collection. I know, it's not even Halloween and I'm all over Christmas, lol. I love make cards for both occasions :D 

Tinkles is available as a single image but if you buy the whole collection of Christmas Elves you will get a 15% discount on them. How's that for a bargain?!!

I stamped my image onto Make it Colour blending card with memento tuxedo black ink. I coloured her up with copic markers, trimmed her out and adhered her to the white doily with 3D foam dots. My papers are from Basic Grey and I've matted & stitched them to cardstock from The Paper Mill.

You're Lovely!!

This morning I took out a small canvas that I had stored away and was set to work on a particular project that I've been thinking about doing for a while now. Between one thing and another I ended up taking the canvas off the board and using it to stamp an image... which is a whole 'nother world from where I was going with it in the first place, lol. 

My card features You're Lovely from Waltzingmouse Stamps. I just adore this set and have used this particular image in so many ways before. It is ideal for paper-piecing too. 

I coloured the dress using Touch Twin Markers

Love love love the texture!!!

Once I had the image coloured I trimmed it out and adhered it to the doily using 3D foam dots. I stamped the sentiment onto manila card, cut it out and tied it with string around the satin ribbon. All of the 'pearls' are done with Viva Decor Opal Paper Pen.
