Crafty Angels DT meets Paper Jewels and more..

Good evening. A very late post today as we've been away at the zoo all day. The weather finally gave us a break so we packed up the kids and some snacks on the spur of the moment. It turned out to be a wonderful day and now I have very tired, but very happy kiddos.

This week on Crafty Angels there is a sketch by me to follow :)

You can flip, change or rotate the sketch but we must be able to see the original sketch in your creation.

I made my easel card with some other challenges in mind:
Paper Jewels - Sewing (real or faux) & Buttons
Bildmalarna Blog - Easel cards

faux stitching

Papers: We R Memory Keepers Whiteout
Image: Mimosa with Cupcakes
Distress inks, stickles
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Buttons, ribbon & thread from my stash
Tools: Circle & Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, Cuttlebug, Paper Piercer

I also want to share the other 2 projects which I made for In Love with Stamping's Cup Challenge.

This one I made for the Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed & Something Blue challenge...

For challenge 5 we were given some inspiration in the form of this picture.

I took the colours and layers and came up with this..
(The pictures were taken at night so they are a little off colour)

Thanks so much for popping by today. Have a great Monday!!

All so cute! I love that doily in the first card, and that image (with the cupcakes--my favorite YUM) is perfect for a b'day. Glad you could play along with our Paper Jewels challenge.
