Waltzingmouse Stamps December Release Previews Day Three

Wey hey!! Welcome to Day Three of Waltzingmouse Stamps December Previews. Not long to wait now, all  of the new sets will be released tomorrow @ 7.15pm GMT!! Do you have a favourite set yet? I just love love love them all but Woodgrain Backgrounder Set is one I know I will reach for time and time again!! Be still My Heart.. lol, another set that will see plenty of ink for sure :D 

Today we are showcasing another amazing set - Ornate Ornaments!! It would not be Christmas without some new ornament stamps, right?!! And yes, these coordinate with the 2010, 2011 AND 2012 ornament Nestabilities too!! 

I just adore the hanging ornament technique on cards and couldn't resist doing it on my cards today. 

I used Stampin' Up Mellow Moss ink to stamp out my ornament and used the 2011 Ornament Nestabilities to cut it out. Once I had my card layerd up I adhered some button twine with fabri-tac glue. 

For my second card I used the same stamp to create my background and featured image. The background was done using Scattered Straw Distress inks and the featured ornament was stamped with Stampin' Up - Ruby Red. I {heart} the font on this sentiment SO MUCH!!

Waltzingmouse Stamps December Release Previews Day Two

Welcome back to Day Two of the Waltzingmouse Stamps December Previews. If you missed yesterday, the design team previewed Woodgrain Backgrounder Set, an amazing set comprising of many background stamps with a fabulous woodgrain texture effect.

Today we bring you My Heart and Wooden Heart Alphabet

I had so.much.fun. mixing and matching with these sets and I've combined them with some of my favourite WMS stamps. 

This card features Yonder Star Backgrounder, My Heart and Seasons of Love

For this card I featured yesterday's preview set Woodgrain Backgrounder Set with My Heart & Wooden Heart Alphabet.

Hi and welcome to Waltzingmouse Stamps December Release Previews. Today the design team are showcasing

Woodgrain Backgrounder Set

I created a wedding card by using Woodgrain Backgrounder Set with Eat Cake and Big Day Additions

The banner at the top is also one of the stamps in this fabulous new set.The Mr. and Mrs. stamp is a teeny weeny sneak peek of another set in the December Release ;) 

I used Martha Steward Antique Lace punch to create the double border on the end of my front panel and I adhered each layer with 3D foam for loads of luxurious dimension. 

The papers, flowers, lace & trim that I used on this card are from a prize box I won from Dies to Die for.

Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge

We have another great inspirational sketch for you on the Waltzingmouse Stamps challenge blog.  This week we have a sketch, created by our Mischief Maker, Jean Martin and this is my take on it. 

My card features two of my favourite stamp sets 

 Yonder Star Backgrounder and Very Vintage Christmas

I created the background paper with the Yonder Star Backgrounder stamped with dark blue ink onto blue cardstock. Then I embossed white card with a snowflake embossing folder. I used the Yonder Star Backgrounder on white card to create the 2 flag elements and then more snowflake embossed white card, adhered with 3D foam dots. I stamped the sentiment onto smooth white card with Memento Black ink and cut it out with the Classic Circle Nestabilies.

Good morning! It's Friday and that means we have a new Inspiration Friday for you over on La-La Land Crafts. This week we are Giving Thanks - we want to see Thank You cards or projects. 

My card today features Ballerina Marci 

She's been coloured up with Copic Markers: 

Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20

Hair - E21, E23, E27, E29

Clothing - RV10, RV13, RV14. G21, G24, YG03, YG63

My papers are from Prima and I've stitched them down onto black, pink and white cardstock. I cut out my image with classic oval nestabilities and matted it onto a scalloped oval, adding some Viva Decor pearl pen on alternative scallops. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the Thank You ribbon is from a pack I won from....I think it was Crafty Ribbons.

DT Quixotic Paperie - A Christmas Elf Banner

Hi everyone!! We are having a  FESTIVE THEMED WEEK over on the Quixotic Paperie blog and today I am sharing  a banner I made featuring the Christmas Elves Collection from Make it Crafty. 

I've used Make it Colour Blending card and copic markers for my images.

I  hand cut the ribbon pennants. My patterned paper is from Echo Park and I've stitched them down onto the base. Then I layered on some white doilies, which I'd cut from one of my doily dies, lace and baker's twine before adhering the images with 3D foam dots. I then tied the pennants together with deep red ribbon, and I tied little bells in between them. 

I also added some Make it Crafty lasercut chipboard from the Holly Decorations set which I've coloured with pencils and added some glossy accents to.

My card features Valentine's Petals and she comes with coordinating sentiments.

 I coloured my image with Copic markers and distressed the background with distress inks. 

My layers have been adhered with 3D foam dots for loads of dimension. I cut the sentiment out using classic circle nestabilities and before removing the die I sponged the background with Tumbled Glass distress ink. To embellish I added some pink ribbon, pearls, tickets and die cuts

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps November Release Previews Day Two

We have some characters that you are already familiar with.....Lulu, Lexi and Lucas... AND we are very excited to share a sweet new inspirational set by Cheryl!!! It's OFF WE GO!! and DELIGHTFUL VERSES!!!

My PERFECTLY matching papers, lol, are from Prima. Once I had my image coloured up with copics I sponged the background with Tumbled Glass distress ink, while leaving the classic circle Nestabilities die on so that I get a white edge.
