It's Day Two of Waltzingmouse Stamps April Release previews. I hope you enjoyed yesterday's preview of My Kind of Guy? Today, the design team are showcasing another amazing set - Nordic Baby.
I sat down to make a card and kind of lost the run of myself :P I made a card and gift box set for both a boy and a girl.
My papers are from Prima and the cardstock from Papermill Direct. I used Nestabilities labels to cut out the sentiment which I stamped out with Victorian Velvet Distress ink and Archival Black ink. I layered 2 kinds of lace over the paper and then I stuck the sentiment down with 3D foam dots on top.
The gift boxes are designed like pizza boxes and the tutorial can be found on Splitcoast Stampers. All you need is one sheet of 11" x 6" card and patterned papers/embellishments of your choice. They are so much fun to make.
On this one I added some ribbon, lace, a doily, ribbon, a flossed button and a punched butterfly.
On the Boy set I again used Prima papers and used the same design as for the girl card, except instead of 2 layers of lace I used lace and a punched border.
I just adore the baby shoes stamp :D
Below is the list of ladies participating in today's previews..
Thanks for dropping in!
