Waltzingmouse Stamps June Release Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamps June release blog hop. You  should have arrived here from Jennifer's blog, but if not and you want to play along, head on over to Claire's blog where the hop begins.

The sets which are being released today are -
Fine Feather, Funky Feathers, Country Labels 14, Big Berry Cherries, You're A Doll, You're A Doll additions, Country Charms, Crackle Background (full background size), Crackle Background Reverse (full background size) Mini Crackle Background and Mini Crackle Background Reverse.

My first stamp today features the large Crackle Background & Fine Feathers

I stamped the Crackle Background using Pretty in Pink (SU) and adhered it to the pink base card. The feather was stamped with Barely Banana onto another panel of white card and ahered with 3D for for dimension. I wrapped pink/white bakers twine around it and secured it with a bow.

My next card features Country Labels 14

Another CAS card, which I am loving right now :D I used an orange base and layerd on some yellow cardstock. Then on a white panel I stuck down some ribbon and stamped the sentiment with memento black ink. I cut out the Labels 14 using the dies and stamped the frame with Bundled Sage distress ink, then I added the Prima flower. To embellish I simply added 3 champagne pearls.

FREEBIE ALERT!! Country Charms will be given FREE to the first 50 orders of £60GBP. After that it will be made available to purchase from the store.

SCACD New Release Blog Hop

Today Susana Loves Stamps releases yet another round of these FUN little pranksters the Oddly Sweet Curiosities #5!

With their universal appeal the Curiosities were just begging for another turn in the spotlight with a new release. These little guys are the perfect way to provoke a smile or a laugh.  We're addicted, and from the popularity of the previous sets we know you will be too!
Susana Loves Stamps is also showcasing a  fresh new line: The MechAnimals. This edgy but endearing range of SteamPunk animals will lend themselves to all sorts of projects, occasions and styles and earn a place in your crafty hearts.
Both collections are available in rubber, direct from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design or for International customers from Quixotic Paperie in the UK!

You should have arrived here from Kathi's blog, but if not and you want to play along, then hop on over to Melanie's blog where the fun begins.
My samples today feature Got Zen and Shroom to Grow

First up, I made a 6x3" tag with Shroom to Grow... he/she? is simply adorable!!!

Then I altered a notebook I had laying around my craftroom.. begging to be altered for the longest time :D I went with bright, fun colours. I've used some bare chipboard elements from the Make it Crafty range to embellish, along with some buttons and pearls.

Both of my images have been stamped out with memento black ink onto Make it Colour blending card, and both of my projects feature papers from Basic Grey.

PLUS - SCACD Digital is a new adventure for Susana and will see the revival in  digi of some past releases available in rubber, and the addition of some fresh new fun! They are available now for purchase but watch out for some fun from the design team and friends to showcase the digital releases in the near future! SCACD Digital's first collaboration is Carmen Medlin for SCACD Digital.  Carmen's range will definitely have something for everyone, from elegant to adorable and everything in between.

NOTE: Elisabeth Bell and Victoria Case stamps will NOT be offered as digital images by SCACD.

Grab a cup of something yummy and enjoy the show!

Waltzingmouse Stamps June Release Previews Day One

Hello and welcome to day one of the Waltzingmouse Stamps June Release Previews. Today we are introducing You're A Doll and You're a Doll Additions

I had so much fun with this set ...

Altered Moleskine Journal
I painted the background with white acrylic paint and heat dried with a heat gun. To create the image I used Memento Black, Fired Brick Distress ink and Tumbled Glass distess ink.

Next I made a more "fluff n stuff" card. The papers are from Basic Grey's "What's UP" collection and I've matted them with both purple and white cardstock. I coloured the doll with copic markers and embellished with  some white pearls and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

Finally, I  made another card but went more CAS. I used a black base and layered up some white card which I had embossed. They Pennant was made by stamping Cabin Plaid backgrounder and then trimming it to make the banner shape.

Below is the the list of ladies participating in today's previews....

Have a great day!!!

Quixotic Paperie - Baby Anya & Ian

Hi!! Today I have a couple of little cards to share which feature the super cute Baby Anya & Ian stamp set and the TGF Baby Onsie Die

I stamped my images out onto Make it Colour Blending card and coloured them up with copic markers. I trimmed them out and adhered them with 3D foam dots. I used Prima Hello Pastel papers on both cards. To make the onsies I first cut it out with carstock and then I cut it out with the Prima papers and layered them up. Then I layered on the accessories (lapel, bow, etc)

To embellish I used some white white, pink and dark blue pearls, a punched butterfly and a button flossed with twine.

Sneaking in a little more Waltzingmouse Stamps May Release Inspiration...

... before June is out! ;)

Hi everyone!! I'm back with a little bit of Waltzingmouse Stamps inspiration, from the May Release sets. First, if you are here looking for The Greeting Farm July Release Previews you need to keep scrollin' down or CLICK HERE..

Today I have chosen to use USA 1776.

I layered up some red/white/blue cardstock, finishing with a layer of white which I embossed with Swiss Dots embossing folder. I left a little bit at the bottom 'unembossed' so that I could stamp out my sentiment.

I heat embossed the Statue of Liberty with Wow! Embossing Primary Bark Powder (regular) and trimmed it out with a scissors. I adhered both the statue and the 1776 banner with 3D foam dots.

If you need some more inspiration the Jeanne & Jen C have more amazing projects to share!!!

The Greeting Farm July Release Previews - Tuesday Premiere

Hi!! Can you believe it's almost July?! Seriously, it's only 6 months to Christmas... LOL!!

Anywhooooooo.. today we kick off The Greeting Farm's July Release previews with Tuesday Premiere and the Film Strip Die. Sadly, Mr Postie let me down and I didn't get my dies on time so today I am previewing Tuesday Premiere only...

I have created 2 projects and first up is one of my favourite things to make - a Popcorn/Candy Box. The free template for this is available HERE. So easy to  make and the kids LOVE it!!!

My next project turned out a whole lot better than I thought it would, lol. I decided to make a clapboard from scratch, just using some black and white card.. and whole lot of imagination :/

Check out the rest of the gorgeous projects by our super talented DT over on The Greeting Farm blog. And remember, to be in with a chance of winning some fabulous TGF products just leave a comment on each of the DT blogs as you visit them.

A Creative Romance - Don't Be Square

Good afternoon!! We are on the home stretch for the school summer break and I am so ready for it. I am looking forward to the wind down and lack of routine for a little while. This week has been another busy week of swim lessons, hurling, football, youth clubs.. etc.. etc..etc.. Whoever it was who said we become a taxi service for our kids was so so so right!! lol. I still can't believe my 'babies' will be going into 2nd and 4th class in August .... they are growing SO fast.

Today I want to share a card I made for the latest challenge at A Creative Romance. The theme is 'Don't Be Square' - make a shaped card.

I coloured Tilda with distress inks and distress markers. The papers I've chosen are from My Mind's Eye and I've layered up some cheesecloth and lace on top of them. I used a little bit of matching Prima Washi Tape. The metal sentiment stick reads "Capture Life's Moments' and I have threaded some baker's twine through the ends and wrapped it around the back. To finish I added some pearls and a punched butterfly.

Our prize for this challenge is a voucher kindly offered by Nikki at Bunnyzoe's

To be in with a chance of winning you just need to link your entry up on THIS POST.

WOW! Embossing Powder - Make a Wish

Hi!! Today I have a little WOW! Embossing Inspiration for you. This month our theme to follow is Nature and here is what I came up with.

I love this Make a Wish stamp set and thought it was perfect for the theme. I started off with a white card base (105mm x 148mm) and layered on a slightly smaller piece of kraft card, leaving a white border all around. The I cut another piece of white card slightly smaller than the kraft. I used a mix of glimmer mists and spritzed the card. If you're as impatient as me you can use your heat gun to dry the mist spray rather than wait for it to dry ;)

Once I had dried the mist spray I took some Primary Bark embossing powder and added the Dandelions. Then I stamped out the sentiment, also in the set, with black memento ink.

Other Products Used:
White Hammered Card - Papermill Direct

You still have time to enter our monthly challenge following the 'Nature' theme to be in with a chance of winning some WOW goodies!!

Thanks for dropping by today. Happy Crafting

My card today features 2 stamps sets - The front panel features My Island and the background is from Off Beat Backgrounds

I used Mustard Seed distress ink for the background and both Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade on the Island sunset. The palm trees and sentiment (also in the set) are stamped out with Tuxedo Black Memento.

I embossed the white panel with brick wall embossing folder and layered every thing up, adding a white doily and die cut tickets. To embellish I added a metal anchor tied with twine, some pearls and I cut the little 'Snap Shots' banner from some patterned papers.

The Greeting Farm - Retro Fresh Challenge

Hi!! I'm a little late.. oops!! (blonde moment.. but better than a senior moment, right??!!, lol.)

Anywhoooo... today's new Retro Fresh Challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog is LAYERS.. yup, layer up those projects with papers, die cuts, tags.. and whatever else you can think of !!

My card features Ian from the Later Sk8er stamp set and the TGF Fence die.

I stamped him out onto Make it Crafty Blending card and coloured him up with copic markers. Then I trimmed him out with a scissors. The papers are from the Prairie Hill collection by Pink Paislee. I used a brown cardstock base and a white layer between the base and the patterned papers.

I stamped the accompanying sentiment onto a small tag (for another layer ;) ) and tucked it between the papers. The little banner is from a sheet of paper in a My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper pack.. but the name escapes me right now. The fence is cut from a very heavy kraft cardstock and it's been distressed with Brushed Cordoroy ink. To finish off I added some brown pearls to each of the corners.

To enter the challenge all you need to do is use a TGF image 6 months or older, upload it to your blog, online gallery and link it up on the TGF Blog.
*Any crafting project is welcomed - card, 3D project, scrapbook page
*You have until July 9th at noon CST to enter and one lucky winner will receive a 4x6 set AND a single in stock!
