Hi everyone. Today I'm back with another tutorial - a Mini Oddball Dome Card. This cars is just so simple to create, and is a fabulous display piece. The measurements are easily adapted to suit any size card you want to make and it is perfect for any theme.
Supplies:
Card base
Christmas/winter themed designer paper
Scoring board, bone folder
Circle dies
Die cuts for embellishment
Adhesive, foam tape.
How to:
Stamp Mini Oddball Snowflake onto a 4.5" square piece of white blending card, and Mini Oddball and his Reindeer onto a separate piece of blending card. Colour with copics/pencils. Set aside
Card Base: 6" x 6"
Cut designer paper:
Dome front: 5.75" x 7"
Inside front: 5.75" x 5.5"
Cut a 4.5" stitched/pierced circle from the gold card and then use the die used for the window to cut out the middle. Repeat with a 4" scalloped circle die, cutting away the middle. Adhere them together to make a frame for the window.
Adhere the 5.75"(h) x 5.5"(w) piece of card to the front of the card base
Run the centre panel of the designer paper over your fingers to curve it slightly. Fold back the two outer 0.5" sections. Apply glue to the 0.5" section and adhere to one side of the card front, leaving a 1/8" border. Apply adhesive to the other 0.5" section and adhere to the other side. The extra 0.25" of card will keep the front curved.
Decorate the front using Christmas/Winter themed die cuts. Stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card to finish off.
