Memories - Scalloped Mini Album

Hi! I'm back today with a DT project I created for Crafty Cutting. 

This is a 6 pagem 4" x 4" scalloped chipboard album and it's held together by 2 book rings. 

I cut some 12 x 12 papers in to 4" squares and adhered them to the fronts of all the pages. I then cut around the scallops with a craft knife. Once the fronts were all done I repeated the process for the other side of all the pages. 

(Remember to punch the holes for the book rings on the front before adhering the paper to the back, or they will be completely covered over - making it rather difficult to find them after!)

I embellished the front cover by layering some cheesecloth, a chipboard card, a tag I cut from the patterned papers, lace and a 1" flower. I then added a wooden heart, also from Crafty Cutting. On top of the heart I layered a peach flossed button, 'memories' word sticker, a bronze heart and some Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

A Wooden Heart...

Hello!!! I am just popping in quickly with a little altered project I did last week. 

I got these fabulous wooden hearts from Crafty Cutting and made some hanging heart decorations with them. They would be lovely on one of those twig trees as decor for Valentine's Day! I also designed them in a way that they could be hung as a banner. 

I prepared them by painting the back and sides black. I covered the front with Prima patterned papers, using a craft knife to trim around them. To soften the edges I sanded them. 

I added simple embellishments like lace, flossed buttons, a metal key, a metal lock and some pearl pen.

This would be the middle heart if I was to make the banner. The rose is about 0.75" in diameter. For the words I think I used Tim Holtz Chit Chat stickers - I have a few brands or word stickers and I can't remember exactly which one I used. 

I did have 6 of these hearts but I used one on the front of a  mini album which I will share soon :)

Pumpkin Halloween Album - Crafty Cutting

Good morning!! Today I am sharing another Halloween project featuring the NEW Pumpkin Die Cuts from Crafty Cutting. 

On the internal pages I left the facial cut outs in place and secured them with double sided tape before covering the pages with paper. 

The papers are a mix of  Bo Bunny's Fright Delight, Aunthentique's Enchanted and Graphic 45's An Eerie Tale

Halloween Shadow Box - Crafty Cutting

Good morning! Today I am sharing an altered shadow box which is my first design team project for Crafty Cutting. 

 The Frame Size is 8" x 8" and the internal box Size 6" x 6" x 2". 

I covered the frame and internal box with An Eerie Tale papers by Graphic 45.  I painted the back and the back support with charcoal black paint. 

 I used lots of Dies to create the scene inside 

Dies: 

Pumpkins, Spiderweb Border, Spiderweb Corner, Creepy Vines, Eerie Bats, Frightful Fence, 

  Scary Tree, Spooky House, Tombstones, Spiderweb Banner

Cardstock: 

White Pearlised, Black, Orange, Yellow & Kraft
