GDT Just Magnolia and hAnglar & Challenge and DT La-La Land Crafts

Good morning and happy Friday!!

Boy what a busy week... the kids are finished school for the summer so of course we've had award cermonies, sports days and early collections. I am so happy to have some down time... before the boredom fighting starts, lol.

Today I have 2 cards to share. I am thrilled to announce that I have been asked by the lovely Bev to be guest designer on the Just Magnolia and hAnglar & stAnglar Challenges blog for the month of July.

The theme for this week is Anything Goes with the option of Shabby Chic.

I am seriously in love with Pink Paislee's Butterfly Garden collection. They are just all round beautiful papers. I've distressed them and machine stitched them to some salmon pink cardstock. The lace, flowers and smaller pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the doily is from ebay. I've spritzed my flowers with Pearl glimmer mist to add shimmer - but as always I can't pick it up on the camera, it's just about visable on the white sweetheart flower.

My image has been coloured using copic markers -

for my circles I used both Circle and Scalloped Circle Nestabilities. Dress Up Marci has been coloured with Copic markers and the sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps. I've added a little bit of lace and some pearls for embellishment.

TOMIC - Pink, White & Brown

Back again.... lol! I got some mojo today {Thanks Adele!!} and made a card for the TOMIC Challenge, which is Pink, White & Brown.

I bought this Sweet Tilda a couple of weeks back and finally got to ink her up.

Paper are Tim Holtz, dark brown cardstock and a layer of vellum - all machine stitched.

Copics used - E00, 11, 21. R20. RV21, 23, 25. E31, 33, 35. C1

Wild Orchid, Just Magnolia & TOMIC Challenges

Hi everyone!! Well I've been playing catch up with my DT work since my copics finally arrived but I also got to finish off a couple of images that I had previously started and turned them into cards just for challenges.

First up is one I made for both Just Magnolia - Anything Goes and Wild Orchid Challenges, which is a sketch by Bev.

After a recent stash sort out I came across my Magnolia papers, I have so many papers that they got buried, lol. I machine stitched them all and distressed the punched border with Tim Holtz Brushed Cordoroy.

The image is from hAnglar & stAnglar and I've coloured her with copics : Skin- E00, 01, 11, R20. Coat/Shoes/Hat - R35, 37, 39. Dress - E50, 51, 53. Key - C3, 5, 8. Hair - E31, 33, 35.

The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pearls and adage ticket are from my stash.

Next is a card I made for The Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge {TOMIC}. This is their first challenge and the theme is to make a Birtday card.

I have also used Magnolia papers on this card. Teal is my favourite colour so I have been sparing these for all I'm worth, lol. They have been machine stitched onto darker teal card and I've added a large white doily behind my Tilda.

Copics used: Skin - E00. 01. 11. 21. R20. Dress/Hair Bow - BG70, 72, 75. Shoes - E42, 43, 44. Hair - E71, 74, 77. Birdcage - E50, 51, 53. Bird - Y02, 06

The flowers are lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the fabulous teal trim is from An Siopa Bui. I've stamped Happy Birthday onto a tiny white tag that I inked with distress ink. I also inked the flowers. The pearls are from my stash.
