DT Quixotic Paperie - Post-it Note Holder

Howdy Bloggers! I have a cute little post-it note holder to share  today I found the tutorial for this over on Splitcoast Stampers and it's such an easy tutorial to follow.

To make this I used
Papers - My Mind's Eye
Cardstock - The Paper Mill
Butterfly Sentiment - Whimsy Stamps
Satin Ribbon (two x 5" lengths)

The base is a 7" x 4" piece of card, scored @ 3.25" from each end and leaving a .05" spine in the middle.

The carstock matts are 3" x 3.75" and the patterned paper adhered to them is 2.75" x 3.5". You need 3 of each - 1 for the outside front and 2 for inside. The ribbon is adhered to the card inside before I add the matts on top of it.

I stamped the sentiment onto cryogen card with black momento ink, hand cut it out and adhered it with 3D foam. To finish it off I added 2 pink pearls on either side of the sentiment.

I also used the current sketch from our MONTHLY SKETCH CHALLENGE when creating my post-it note holder. You can find the sketch and details HERE

Pocket Full of Posies - Winged Things

Hi! We have another great challenge for you on A Pocket Full of Posies - Winged Things. We would like to see wings on your projects... of any kind!!

We are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps
and the DT were given some fabby images to work with. My image is by Meljen's Designs and they can be found only at the Whimsy Store.

My papers are  Pink Paislee - 365 Degrees and I was given FruFru Fairy Joy. I coloured her using copic markers and added stickles all through the image.

The pin, flowers, ribbon and red gems are from my stash.

I used the sketch from Papertake weekly so am entering this card into their challenge.

Thanks for popping by. Be sure to visit my teamies' blogs to see their wonderful creations.

Have a great day
