La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday & GDT Just Magnolia

Good morning.. TGIF!!!

I have 2 cards to share today. My first is for La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday. This week the team are showing Monochromatic +1 cards.

For my card I used Sugar 'n' Spice Marci and chose to use blues with a splash of pink.

My papers are by Tim Holtz and they've been machine stitched onto blue card from The Paper Mill. Both my ribbon and lace were from my RAK from the very sweet Ali. The flowers are Wild Orchid and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Copics Used -
Skin: E00. 01, 11, R20
Hair: E71, 74, 77
Dress/Shoes: B91, 93, 95, 97
Cupcake: E50, 53. R00, 21, 22

Next up is my 2nd guest DT card for Just Magnolia and hAnglar & stAnglar Challenges. The challenge for this week is a lovely sketch my Jane.

My papers are Basic Grey Sweet Threads matted with deep brown cardstock. The flower and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafs and the Pearls are Kaisercraft.

I had some challenges in mind when making my cards but will have to add them later as I'm late for a coffee date.. yes, such a hard life I live, lol.

Well that is it from me for today. Have a wonderful Friday.

Just Magnolia & Lovely hAnglar Only Challenges

This is my second post of the day, if you're looking for my Love To Stamp sneak peek you need to scroll down or click HERE

It's been a while since I've had time to ink up one of my hAnglars and now that Just Magnolia also allow hAnglars in their challenges it makes it so much easier to get around to using them. It also helps that my internet connection is awful lately so I don't spend too much time on Facebook, lol.The challenge on Just Magnolia is Anything Goes with the option of real or faux stitching.

I have a total mental block when it comes to these particular Basic Grey papers, I can NEVER remember the name of them.. Stella Ruby maybe? Whatever they are called I'm down to the last of them and I'm not best pleased about that :(

I used the Recipe over on the Lovely hAnglar Only challenge blog, which is -
  • 2 Designpapers
  • more than 2 Flowers
  • Lace
  • Charm
 Copics used - {Skin}E00, 01, 11. {Hat/Shoes}YR21, 23, 24. {Clothes}E07, 09, 18. {Hair}E43, 50, 51, 53.

The sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps "Frame It" stamp set.

Crafty Angels meets Simon Says Stamp

Morning all :) We're off to the zoo today, naughty parents taking the kiddos out of school for a day of fun, lol.

Before I set off I would like to share my DT card for Crafty Angels. The theme this week is "Ripping and Tearing". I used the sketch from Simon Says Stamp so am entering into their challenge.

These hAnglar stamps are sooo running close being my favourite cutsie stamps. I tell ya, they are giving my Maggies a run for their money.... of course I don't have any of the fairytale Maggies yet so I'll hold off on judgment for now, haha!!

I have coloured using Copic sketch markers and gave her an outline to make her 'pop'. The papers have been ripped and inked with vintage photo.

I've used Star Dust Stickles on all of my flowers, the butterfly and the wings on my image. I've also inked the flowers with Victorian Velvet distress inks. I made the photo corners using the co-ordinating cardstock and have also inked & stickled them. The ribbon and white ric rac is from my stash.
