Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge - Use a Doily

Good afternoon!! This week our challenge over on Tickled Pink Challenges is to use a doily somewhere on your project. There is, as always, a fabulous prize up for grabs....1 RUBBER or 2 DIGITAL Stamps of your choice!

Today my card features one of the new stamps from the Lil Little Collection which was previewed yesterday on the Tickled Pink Store blog.  This is Lilith... 

The doily I used is an acetate/transparency doily. I inked the edges with Brushed Cordoroy distress ink. I added lace and rose trim and machine stitched all my papers. The flowers are from packs I bought for £1 each at the NEC in March and some from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Tickled Pink Challenges - 3 Patterned Papers

Hi everyone!! Wow hasn't May just zoomed by??!! This is my last GDT card for Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges and this week we want to see you use 3 patterned papers on your projects. I just love working with the new Lil Victorian Steampunks, so much fun!!

My image is Lil Victorian Steampunk Lolita Lilith - and this girl's got a whole lot of attitude goin' on! I've used copics to colour her. My papers are from Crate Paper Inc's Restoration Collection and they've been ripped and stitched onto dark brown cardstock.  The Ace playing card is from the underside of Lace, which is also in the paper collection.

 

The lace and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pink ticket and pearls are from my stash.

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges - Distressing

Wow, this is my 3rd week as guest designer on Tickled Pink Stamp Challenges!! The month of May is just zooming by in a blur. It's hard to believe the kids have only about 5 weeks left before they are out of school for the summer!! Eeeeek!!! 

Anyhoooo, now I've totally distressed myself with that thought it leads me to this week's challenge which is "Distressing" and in words of Kellie herself --  "this can be distressing with inks or distressing the edges of your papers with a distressing tool, as long as it looks like your creation has been 'distressed' in some way thats fine!!!" 

The prize up for grabs is 1 RUBBER or 2 DIGITAL Stamps of your choice!

On my card I've used Lil Victorian Steampunk Lad Lestat.. how charming is he?!! I just love this whole collection, my favourites {so far!!}

I've pretty much covered every aspect of distressing - my papers have been ripped, scraped, inked and painted.. and for good measure I stitched them too ;)
