Make it Crafty Under the Sea Release Hop

Howdy all! This is my second post today, if you're here for Suzanne's birthday hop keep scrolling down or click HERE. 

Today the desgin team on Make it Crafty are hopping to celebrate the release of the amazing new images from the new collection -  Under the Sea. We have mermaids, and seahorses and dolphins.. and even a castle!!! Woot!! The stuff fantasies are made of :D

For my card I used Mermaid Shellina & Sandy Sea Floor, which also comes premade as a scene Underwater Mermaid Surprise

Suzanne's Birthday Blog Hop!!

The Color Me Creative Design Team has a secret!!! 

 Today we are hopping along to wish our fearless leader, Suzanne Dean, a VERY happy birthday!!! Suzanne is the owner/creator of the Color Me Creative site and, as many of you know, teaches her Copic classes online and on the road! She is one busy momma and we thought we'd take time to wish her a happy day and hope she gets to sit with her Cherry Coke and donuts (ya, a fav combination of hers!) and relax a bit today and enjoy the hop!

Each of us decided it would be fun to remember Suzanne today in "typical Suzanne" style! Our creations will either help remember a "funny travel moment" with Suzanne or... share a secret about Suzanne. Ha!!! Bet she didn't see this coming!!! LOL

DT Whiff of Joy - Thinking of You

Good morning bloggers. Today I am sharing another card I made with the new Heartfelt Condolences collection from Whiff of Joy. 

This little beauty is called Caring Thoughts. I've coloured her up with copic markers. The papers are from Basic grey and I've stitched them down onto teal and white cardstock. The luxurious ribbon is also from Whiff of Joy, as are the halfpearls.

Tickled Pink Stamps sponsors The Corrosive Challenge and Crafting When We Can

Color Me Creative - Celebrations

Happy Saturday!!! The new challenge has just started over on the Color Me Creative Classroom and this time our theme is CELEBRATIONS.

La-La Land Crafts - New Release Showcase

Good morning!

Each Monday and Friday the La-La Land Crafts design team aims to bring you a new and inspirational theme to follow and this week we have something VERY SPECIAL for you!!

Last Monday saw the release of 14 NEW STAMPS from our April Release and it's Team Friday's turn to showcase these amazing images.

I've coloured it us using Copic Markers -

My design papers are Bo Bunny Serenity and to embellish I've simply used some white flat-back pearls.

DT Quixotic Paperie - Post-it Note Holder

Howdy Bloggers! I have a cute little post-it note holder to share  today I found the tutorial for this over on Splitcoast Stampers and it's such an easy tutorial to follow. 

To make this I used

Papers - My Mind's Eye

Cardstock - The Paper Mill

Butterfly Sentiment - Whimsy Stamps

Satin Ribbon (two x 5" lengths)

Pearls

The base is a 7" x 4" piece of card, scored @ 3.25" from each end and leaving a .05" spine in the middle. 

The carstock matts are 3" x 3.75" and the patterned paper adhered to them is 2.75" x 3.5". You need 3 of each - 1 for the outside front and 2 for inside. The ribbon is adhered to the card inside before I add the matts on top of it. 

I stamped the sentiment onto cryogen card with black momento ink, hand cut it out and adhered it with 3D foam. To finish it off I added 2 pink pearls on either side of the sentiment.
