The Greeting Farm November Release Previews - Frou Frou Sweet

Good morning!! It's Day Two of the new release previews from The Greeting Farm and today we are showcasing Frou Frou Sweet.

My first project is a card.

The card base is  5.5" squared and I've layered up some blue, pink and white cardstock along with super sweet papers. I coloured my image up with copic markers and matted her onto pink card which I then adhered with 3D foam tape. To add the pearls I've used a PinFlair pearl wand and the beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

My next project is an altered gift bag.

I've layered up some white cardstock with Prima papers and distressed the edges with Brushed Cordoroy distress ink. I coloured up my image with copic markers and then cut her out with a scissors, leaving a little white border all around. I adhered her with 3D foam dots and then added some Prima & Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers. To finish off I added an organza bow and a button flossed with twine.

Check out what the other ladies have created, over on The Greeting Farm blog. And don't forget, for your chance to win this awesome stamp, leave a comment on each of the DT blogs as you go!!

Have a great day!

A card for a friend...

Hi! Just popping in to share a card I made for a friend's birthday... which quickly turned into belated birthday wishes as my love/hate relationship with the post office deepens.. in fact I hope she has got it by now or I've just ruined the surprise, LOL!!!

On my card I've used Posh has a Present by Stamping Bella and coloured her up with copic markers. The papers are from Prima Marketing and I've layered them up with blue and white cardstock from Papermill Direct. To embellish I added some pearls and a punched butterfly.

Stamping Bella Bellariffic Fridays - Fall Colours

Hi guys!! Today I have an altered canvas to share, which I made for Bellariffic Fridays theme - FALL COLOURS.

The canvas is 6x6" in size and I started off by adding some modge podge and layering on various patterned papers. Then I used Caran D'ache water soluble crayons and Creall Silkies to add some colour to the background. I added some text using a stencil and some distress inks and also added the leaf flourish and border with Dylusions stamps. The leaves have been coloured with the Silkies.

I coloured up my image - Life is Good - with copic markers and trimmed her out. I used modge podge to adhere her down, then I used some crayon to distress the edges of my image. I then took a black multi-liner and outlined all of the leaves to make them pop more. I finished with a layer of modge podge to seal the canvas.

Thanks for dropping by. Don't forget to pop over to the Stamping Bella blog to see what the rest of the Bella Babes have come up with :)

Have a great day

A Little Note..

Good morning!! Today I have a little WOW! Embossing inspiration for this month's challenge theme, which is Stars and Stripes. I automatically think of Red/White/Blue, July 4th and the USA when I hear 'stars and stripes' so I decided to steer another direction and I have made a card in sweet pink, blue & yellow using powders from the Pastel collection.

I embossed the background stripes with Pastel Blue and matted it with a pink cardstock. Then I handcut a couple of stars and embossed them with Pastel Pink, adding some blue to the edges. I used the Pastel Yellow for the butterfly, which is from the With Love clear stamp set, and scissor cut it out before adhering it to a double layer of white card using 3D foam dots.

The sentiment, stamped out with Archival Black ink, is also from the With Love set. To embellish I added a couple of buttons flossed with twine.
