Quick Cards

I had 3 birthday cards to get done on Friday, plus a lunch date to squeeze in.. yes, I have an awful life LOL..

This one was for my SIL. This is the first time I could bring myself to use one of my 'special' Primas on a card, I hope she realises the honour ;)
This one is for my MIL. I was happy when DH asked if I would make her a card, saw it as a compliment... Then he did what every other male does, he opened his mouth for too long and finished with 'no point in having all that crap there and buying a card'.. hmm.. Anyhoo, here is the card. I tried to keep it 'mature' looking.
On the inside of both cards I stamped the simple 'Happy Birthday' sentiment. The 3rd card was a quick childs card, for my niece. I thought I had a picture of it on the camera, but no! I will have to ask for it back..

The careds are just wonderful! Very mature! (They do look mature but I had a very hard time typing it because I am so not mature.) I would take it as a compliment as well even though he kind of opened his mouth and inserted his foot. Isn't that just like a male...only I'm sure he sounded better than my dh because he has that cute little Irish accent thing going on.

"All that crap" indeed! Lovely cards. The centre of the blue Prima looks so textured.
I've nominated you for the Brillante Blog award btw! See it on my blog!

Hi Sandie, I love the "mature" card. I love blue and brown together. I've been lurking here for a while so I'm glad I've finally gotten the chance to comment and say hello!!!

Love the lace. Don't share your Primas! You're supposed to hoard them in cute containers like me. ;)
