Rock 'n' Roll 60's - Stamping for the Weekend
This week on Stamping for the Weekend it is Rock and Roll 60's -
base your creation on one of three songs -
1) A Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum
2) Time of the Season - Zombies
3) Please Mr. Postman - Marvelettes
As you can guess I chose A Whiter Shade of Pale for my card :)
This is my last week doing GD and I have to thank Kimma & Donna for asking me, I really enjoyed my 2 weeks!!
Card Ingredients:
Papermania 'Exquisite' papers
Image : Demure (Honey & Pip)
TH distress inks
Prima Blossoms
Ribbon and button from my stash.
PaperPlay Challenges - Christmas in June
This week's challenge on PaperPlay was 'Christmas in June', set by Kate. We also have a wonderful prize up for grabs .... a full pack of BG Wisteria - sponsored by Cardz n Scrapz!! To be in with a chance of winning just play along with us and leave a link to your creation.
So..... after I'd recovered enough from reading the 'C' word, and actually having to contemplate the very idea of doing anything relating to Christmas when we're only 6mths into the year, I broke out the traditional red and green in the form of the few sheets of Basic Grey Dasher that I have been hoarding.
The sweet image is a Pink Gem design. There are some really wonderful cutsie stamps on that site but I've barred myself from going back there (for the next week or so anyway, lol!!) as I can't resist.
Card Ingredients:
Basic Grey Dasher papers
Image: Pink Gems - Mimi & Snowman
TH Distress Inks
Chipboad swirl painted with Ranger Crackle Paints
Brad, ribbon & button from my stash.
All linked items above are available over at Pez-A-Doodle Designs. Check out Marti's Blog to see how you could win her new release stamps.
