Catch up...

Good morning. Today I have a couple of cards to share. I was too ill last week to blog them, but thankfully I'm almost back to normal now.

Colo{u}r Me Creative's new challenge started on Friday night and we would love to see you create a Black & White OR Sepia project with a pop of one other colour.

Be sure to link up over on the CMC Copic Challenge for your chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design.  Each challenge entry is entered into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  You have until Sept. 30th to enter. Remember this is a copic marker challenge so you MUST use your copics.

I used one of the new stamps from Tickled Pink Stamps and I've also used this card for my Tickled Pink DT card - yes, very naughty but I was ill, remember?! ;) The challenge set for us this week was to RIP something. You can interpret this as actually ripping something like your cardboard, paper, image etc. etc OR you can interpret this as R.I.P something. You must use an image from the Tickled Pink Stamps Line on your project to enter!!

Waltzingmouse Stamps September Release Blog Waltz

It's release time!!

Today Waltzingmouse Stamps is releasing 4 new collections - A Cottage Home, Hocus Pocus, Say it Loud Autumn/Winter and A Christmas Cottage

If you've arrived here from Sarah's blog then you're stepping in the right direction, but if you've lost your way or just stumbled across this  post you need to head back to Claire's Blog where the Waltz begins.

Over the past 3 days the DT have been bringing you sneak peeks of each set and today it is the turn of A Christmas Cottage

I have made a couple of cards and a gift bag. On these projects I have used various stamps from A Christmas Cottage, A Cottage HomeVintage Ornaments

For this card I stamped out the trees and masked them before stamping the cottage. I also used the pathway from A Cottage Home. I used copic markers to colour it, then added some Polar White flower soft for the snow.

I handcut the sentiment, inked it with distess ink and added some punched snowflakes with pearl centres. The snowman has been trimmed out and mounted on dimensionals.

For the gift bag I used Prisma pencils, blended with Jest-It solution. For the snow I used Star Dust Stickles. For the tag I used the Vintage Ornaments stamped with red SU ink, hand cut it out and tied it to the bag using a soft twine.

For a very quick and easy card I took two sheets of Bo Bunny Blitzen paper, cut out the baubles from one and mounted them on dimensionals over the other and stamped a sentiment with black momento ink. I stitched down all of my papers, adhered it to the card base and voila!!

Next stop on the Waltz is Julia's Blog

Have fun!!

I couldn't resist inking up Cicely and combining her with various stamps from Hocus Pocus.

The background bat stamp, beWitched sentiment and broomstick stamp are all from today's set as well as the little crow I placed on Cicely's shoulder, lol.

Waltzingmouse Stamps New Release Previews - Day 2

Morning!! Well I do hope you all enjoyed yesterdays previews of A Cottage Home, the DT did an absolutely amazing job!! We also welcomed 3 fabulous new ladies to the DT - Becca Feeken, Clare Buswell & Kelly Schirmer.

Today we are bringing you Say it Loud Autumn/Winter - a wonderful follow-on to the Say it Loud collection which is a personal favourite of mine, so I was thrilled to see a Holiday version being released this month.

I've used Bo Bunny 'Father Christmas' 6x6 paper pad, machine stitched and adhered to a white card base. These papers are very traditional in colour and quite vintage'y in style.
I added some lace and pearl spray, along with some poinsettias and punched pine leaves. The sentiment was stamped out using momento tuxedo black onto white cardstock, cut out with oval nestabilites, matted with a green scalloped oval and stitched down. Then I mounted them on dimensionals.

Thanks for looking! Please do drop by my teamies' blogs to see their fabulous creations - here is the list of participants today:
