Waltzingmouse Stamps July Release Previews Days Three

Howdy Bloggers!! If you're just joining in on the Waltzingmouse Stamps July Release previews and haven't seen what Day One and Day Two brought you then your first port of call is to check.them.out!! We don't want you to miss a single thing!! Today we showcase our third set - MY ISLAND! An amazing set filled with exotic summer images and sentiments. 

I started out with a very clean and simple card (yes, me.. clean and simple??! pick up your jaw!! lol)

I chose to use a kraft card base and onto some white card I stamped the palm trees using distress inks, and the sentiment using Memento ink. I rounded opposite corners of the white card and distressed a little along the top and bottom. The white card is adhered with 3D foam for dimension. 

I was then totally inspired to make another clean and simple card, lol. Only this time I added one layer of patterned paper which is adhered with 3D foam;) 

I used 5 stamps to create my little ALOHA scene, and each were stamped with distress ink - Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, Aged Mahogany & Black Soot. 

 I also made a tag which started out clean and simple but ended up no such thing!!! Pics later as we had some medical stuff going on today and I didn't get to take a photo of it.

Waltzingmouse Stamps July Release Previews - Day Two

Good morning!! It's Day Two of  Waltzingmouse Stamps July Release Previews!!! I hope you all enjoyed yesterday's showcasing of the fabulous add on to Half Pint Heroines -  Fairy Princess. 

Today we have another mini set for your - NORTH SHORE. 

The possibilities for this set are endless. It would be perfect for layouts and mini book covers along with cards and tags. There is an extra 'date' stamp for 2013 to replace the 2012. 

My paper are a mix of Making Memories and My Mind's Eye. I used Mustard Seed distress ink for my stamping, cut it out with Labels 22 Nestabilities Dies and sponged the background with Tumbled Glass leaving the die in place until after I'd sponged it so that I ended up with a white border all around. Then I matted it onto kraft card. 

The wave border is a new die from La-La Land Crafts. I cut it out twice and layered them one over the other. To embellish I added some yellow bakers twine and clock charm.

Waltzingmouse Stamps July Release Previews - Day One

Good morning!! It's Waltzingmouse Stamps release preview time!! woohooo!!! I am so excited to share the SUPER CUTE set which the whole design team are showcasing today. This amazing set can be mixed and matched with Half Pint Heroines, and even Half Pint Heroes if you're brave enough, lol. 

Introducing Fairy Princess!!! 

I paper pieced the dress on my Princess and coloured the skin, hair and flowers using copic markers. 

The papers have been in my stash for so long. I can't remember what brand they are right now but will edit when I do remember. :)

I did loads of layering with die cut swirls, some vintage images, tickets, flowers and pearls. For extra bling I applied loads of Star Dust Stickles. Notice the frog... ADORABLE!!! You get two different frogs in the set, how fun!! 

For this fairy cutie, I used the body from Fairy Princess and the head from Half Pint Heroines. I trimmed her out and adhered her to an acetate strip. the acetate strip was then adhered to the inside back of the card before adding the patterened paper insert so that she gives the appearance of 'flying' in front of the card. 

Here you can see the how the acetate strip works, and also the shape of the card which Claire herself designed. Oh, she does spoil us.. but we love it ;)  And just in case you're wondering - yes! I did cut it out with  my scissors!! lol. I need to get me a cutting machine :D

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge - Summer Fun!!

Hi everyone! We have a new challenge starting on Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenges today.. and I am your hostess for this one.. SOOOOO the prize for this challenge will be one of the images I used on my cards - JACK!

I paired him up with Florence for a summery, beachy scene.  

My papers are from my scraps box but I think they are Authentique. The sun is a die from La-la Land Crafts. To embellish I added just a few flowers, some ribbon, pearls and a die cut ticket.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps June Release Previews and Challnge

Yay!! Not only is it Day FOUR of our Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps June Previews it's also Krafty Challenge day and we have a fabarooonie sketch by the wonderful Krafty Girl Pam, who is also our Hostess today, for you to play along with. 

Today the Krafty Girls are showcasing a much requested and awaited theme - 

NEVERLAND - PETER PAN AND FRIENDS!! 

Exciting or WHAT?!!!!
We have Tink, Peter, Smee, Hook,... and all the rest of your favourite characters

I turned the sketch 90degrees clockwise to suit my images 

I coloured up both images with copic markers and then trimmed them out. My papers are My Mind's Eye (no surprise there, lol) and they're matted onto cream and brown cardstock from The Paper Mill Direct. *sigh* My sewing machine is being fixed so no stitching until I get it back :( 

The orange embellishments are from a little pack I found in my stash, no clue where they came from but they worked a treat on my card. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls are from The Hobby House.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps June Previews Day Three

Hi!! It's DAY THREE of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps June previews and today we have TWO amazing sets by Emilie Goulet and you are just gonna LOVE them!!

My papers are leftovers from my stash and I forgot to check what brand they were before chucking out all the offcuts, lol. I've added a dress form die cut, with bakers twine added around the waistline, from La-la Land Crafts and some Wild Orchid Crafts pearls and flowers. The text tags are cut outs from my papers.

Good morning!! It's a wet and miserable Friday here but what a perfect day for a spot of crafting :D It's Inspiration Friday over on La-La Land Crafts and this week our theme is

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps June Release Sneak Peeks Day One

We are kicking off the *New* Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps June Release today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a fabulous set of sentiment stamps  - THANK YOU TRINKETS!!!

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the Thank You Trinkets set!!! There are EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size.  There are both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!!

A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations but they are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items!! 

I just love to make treat boxes so these sentiments are definitely my cup of tea ( to wash down the chocolate :P) My paper are actually from Bo Bunny and they are a christmas line. I love the colours and I cut them strategically so that they don't look like christmas papers, lol.

On my card I've used Baby Buggy and coloured it using copic markers. I trimmed it out and adhered it with 3D foam dots. To make the circle card I used both classic and scalloped circle nestabilities. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the alphabet stickers are from Kaisercraft.

Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Challenge - Boy Cards

Just a very quick post today. We've been away all day with the kiddos and now I need to go grocery shopping before they fade away from hunger (their words!! lol) Little Darlings Rubber Stamps' current challenge is to make a card for a boy. 

The sweet stamp I've used on my card is called Me & My Teddy Bear. I've used copic markers to colour him up. The papers are from My Mind's Eye. The lace, ribbon & flossed button are all from my stash, and I think the ribbon is by American Crafts. The butterfly is from La-La Land Crafts new DIES.
