Waltzingmouse Stamps November Release Previews Day Two!

Welcome BACK!! It's day TWO of Waltzingmouse Stamps November release previews and boy have we got some eye candy for you today. We are bringing you TWO more fantabulous sets - Vintage Christmas background and Compliments of the Season 2. Our extremely talented design team have put together a showcase of amazing inspiration and wonderful ideas so be sure to visit each of their blogs - you do NOT want to miss out.

After my Pink and Teal cards yesterday I decided to go with traditional Christmas colours for today's previews! Again, my card is A6 size ( 148mm x 105mm or 5.8" x 4.1"). The Vintage Background stamp is PERFECT for this size card.. and a little larger if you want to go there :)

I inked up half of the background stamp with Stampin' Up Ruby Red and the other half with Stampin' Up Mellow Moss inks. Stamped it down onto some plain white card and then cut it down to size. I stamped out the MERRY CHRISTMAS with memento black in as I was going to colour it in with my copics but then decided that I liked the outline look better. I stitched all of my papers down before adding some white lace and wine red ribbon, to which I had tied some red/white bakers around. To finish I made some pearls with the Opal Viva Decor paper pen.

As I was itching to play some more I hopped over to the FREEBIES section of the WMS Store and got myself  the template for the Three Kings boxes (or as I call them - Christmas crackers!! lol.. and I only made one!)

I printed the template out on regular copier paper and stuck it to my cardstock with removable glue. Once i had it all cut out and scored I inked up the Vintage Christmas background stamp with Ruby Red ink, stamped it out onto white card and cut it down to fit on each panel of the cracker. I used the same baker's twine as I had on the card to close up the cracker and made a circular tag using one of the sentiments from Compliments of the Season 2. I threaded the baker's twine through both the tag and a silver bell and secured them with a bow - so my cracker jingles when it's moved :D

The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is also from Compliments of the Season 2 and stamped it out onto white card with Memento black ink. Then I cut it out with oval nestabilies and adhered it on 3D foam to the front of the cracker.

For your convenience, below is the list of ladies who are participating in today's previews.....
