La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday - Tic Tac Toe

Good morning! It's Inspiration Friday time over on La-La Land Crafts and this week our theme is...

I altered a little canvas bag that I got at the NEC show last year. My stamp is the super adorable Travel Marci and I've stamped her out using Memento black ink

I coloured her up with copic markers.

To embellish I've added some lace, pearls, ribbon, prima flowers & bling.

DT Quixotic Paperie - Snow Day Lucas

Hi guys! Today I have a Quixotic Paperie DT card to share which features Snow Day Lucas from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I made this card a while back, for publication, but seeing as we're still awaiting warmer weather I figured now is as good a time as any to blog it. We do have a bit of sunshine peeking out today but I'm afraid to look in case it disappears :/

I stamped out my image onto Make it Crafty blending card, coloured it up with copic markers and sponged the background with Tumbled Glass distress ink. For the ground I used a warm grey (W1 &W3) and added some Star Dust Stickles on top. For the snowballs I used BG000 and Stickles. 

My papers are from My Mind's Eye and Crate Paper Inc. I've matted them with red and white cardstock, from Papermill Direct, and added some cheesecloth and a white doily in between the layers. To cut out my image, and matching sentiment, I used classic circles Nestabilites. I matted my image onto a scalloped circle also cut out with Nestabilities. 

To embellish I added some paper flowers, a Cog Snowflake from Make it Crafty which has been whitewashed and then glittered, and some Opal pearl pen.

The Greeting Farm June Release Previews Day One

Hi everyone!!! It's The Greeting Farm NEW RELEASE time and we have the most ADORABLE stamps and DIES to showcase today. 

I made some cute gift boxes featuring Baby Anya and Ian, and the Baby Onsie Die set. 

There are so many little extra dies to add some character to your onsie.. on my baby girl box I used the cute bow. 

I coloured her up with Copic Markers and used a little paper-piecing.... 

I used the same layout for the baby boy gift box. The accompanying sentiments are just perfect!

Again, I used copics and some paper-piecing on the cap and bib.....

Welcome back to Day FOUR of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May previews!!! We are back with three more of our sassy BEACHY GIRLS for you today! 

We've also got a new challenge for you today! Lots of fun stuff happenin' at the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge blog!!

Today we have the last three stamps from our BEACHY GIRLS collection to show you! We've got MARGARITA, RIVER and SUNNIE to share! It's another incredibly fun release!! You will love it!

This will also be the last set of stamps from Annie for a little while as she's taking a bit of a hiatus from stamp art at the moment. Today starts a new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge at The Greeting Farm.

This week our theme is: 

Paper-Piecing!!

My card features one the super creepy cute Creeper Crew, Monday Morning. I can totally relate.... lol. 

I stamped her out onto Make it Colour Blending card and coloured her up with copic markers. I paper-pieced her dress and socks. 

My papers are from My Mind's Eye and the tag/journaling tag are from Prima Marketing. To embellish I added some white pearls and buttons flossed with twine.

TGF Farm Fresh Friday - Easy as 1-2-3 :)

Good morning! Today sees a new Farm Fresh Friday challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog, and this week we have a 1-2-3 challenge; 1 image, 2 embellishments & 3 papers. 

My card today features Garden Anya  and the Fence die which are both from the May NEW RELEASE. 

Using only 2 types of embellishments was a tough one, I had to decide between buttons, which are my newest loooove, and pearls.. the pearls won out! lol. I also added a large Prima flower and two more of the white flowers I got from LilyPuss Craft Designs store on Etsy.

Yumi & Fumi Handmade - Shaped Cards for Mother's Day

Today is the last day to enter the current challenge over on the Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts blog, and the theme is Shaped cards for Mother's Day. 

 We all know Mother's Day can represent any Mother figure in your life. It could be your mom, grandmothers, aunts, friends, girlfriends, even your in-laws or that special lady who you couldn't have become the person you are today without their love and support.

Today I am sharing a shaped card featuring Fumi. 

I used Labels 25 Nestabilities to create the base shape of my card and then layered up some white card and gorgeous pink floral patterned paper. Next I added a doily. I coloured my image with copic markers and also used Labels 25 to cut her out, mounting her onto 3D foam to give the card some dimension. 

To embellish I've used some May Arts Ribbon, pearls, flowers & a flossed buttons. Check out the  GORGEOUS white flowers from LilyPuss Crafts over on Etsy. A box of 12 flowers is only £3 and they are available in other colours.

Opal the Optimist - DT Quixotic Paperie

Afternoon!! Today I have a Quixotic Paperie DT card to share which features Opal the Optimist, one of the fabulous Uptown Girls from Stamping Bella. After the week I've had this is totally me.. except Opal is much classier, lol. (Think pj bottoms, t-shirt and hair tied up in a scrunchie!!.. yeah, that's me :P ) 

I've stamped her out onto Make it Colour blending card and coloured her up with copic markers. Then I trimmed her out with a scissors and adhered her with 3D foam. I also scissor cut the accompanying sentiments and also adhered that with 3D foam. 

The papers are from the UNFORGETTABLE collection by My Mind's Eye. I added some chipboard corners which are spares from one of my La-La Land Crafts Shadow Box kits. To embellish I added some pearls and a button flossed with May Arts button twine.

Again, I used Summer Sorbet, can't get enough of these sweet papers. 

Both of my images have been coloured with Copic Markers. All of my flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls are from The Hobby House.
