Stamping Bella Bellarific Friday

Hi everyone!! Popping in real quick today. The craft room has been packed up and emptied out so no more makes from me until I have my room finished. It's been a long time in the planning stages (read major procrastinating on my behalf!) and now I am just itching to get things underway. 

Anywhooo.. our Bellarific Friday this week was to use Washi tape or Ribbon on our makes. I have featured Senior-ita Dolores on my card. I kept it fairly CAS so as to keep the image as the focal point, and for embellishment I added some washi tape, a little baker's twine and some cream pearl pen.

Stamping Bella SNEAK PEEK!!

Today it's my turn to share one of the amazing new stamps from the upcoming release by Stamping Bella, and I am previewing SENIORITA Beverly Loves the Rain. Such a fun image, I really enjoyed colouring her up

The name of/brand/collection of papers I've used has escaped me right now but I will edit when I remember, lol. I've used kraft and white card to matt my layers. To embellish I've added some orange ribbon and white self-adhesive pearls.

Hi! I'm back again with a quick card I  made, featuring Uptown Girl CATHERINE nibbling chocolate from Stamping Bella

With the horrendous weather out there I think a good movie and some chocolates, in front of a blazing fire, sounds just about right!!

I stamped her out onto Make it Colour blending card and coloured her up with copic markers. The papers are Love You Madly from Glitz.

Courage - Journal Entry

Good afternoon!! I've been having  lots of crafty fun with mixed media lately and today I have a journal page to share.

Supplies: 

Gesso, 7 Dots Studio "Drive All Night" from the Dreamer collection, Chipboard shapes and frames, Gelatos, Glimmer Mist & Dylusions spray, Distress Inks; Pine Needles, Evergreen Bough, Mustard Seed & Vintage Photo, Clear embossing powder, chipboard butterflies, metal key charm, tag, chunky white enamel, alphabet stickers, Tim Holtz stamp, stencil, modeling paste, mod pogde, twine & Sharpie white paint pen.

For the background I added a thick layer of guesso and dried it off with my heat gun. I then spritzed it with various colours and layered on some of the 7 Dots papers with matt mod podge. Finally I used a script stencil and modelling paste to add the text.

To alter the frame and clock I used both Mustard Seed and Vintage photo distress inks and then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. 

I did the same with the butterflies, with Pine Needles & Evergreen Bough distress inks and clear embossing powder. Then I added an outline with the Sharpie paint pen. 

I distressed the edges of the tag with Vintage Photo distress ink, stamped my sentiment with Archival black ink and melted some white chunk enamel onto it. Then I tied some packaging twine through the tag. 

The page is quite dimensional and has loads of different textures, which something I am working on for my pages and canvases.  The theme for the page was inspired by this month's emotion challenge over on the Mixed Media Place blog, which is Courage.

Bellariffic Friday - Colour Inspiration

It's Bellariffic Friday time on the Bellablog and this week we had a colour inspiration 

My tag features LIFE IS GOOD. 

I coloured her up, trimmed her out and adhered her with 3D foam tape. 

The flowers and pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the chipboard plaque at the top is from a La-La Land Crafts Project Kit.

Quick no-colouring Birthday Card

Hi! Just a quick post from me today. I am currently purging my craft room and it's turned out to be one of those jobs that make you wonder why you ever started it!! Right now there is barely enough room to open to door because I have everything pulled out of cupboards and boxes :/
