Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday - Photo Inspiration

Hi! Today I have a card to share. I made this for Stamping Bella's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had a photo inspiration to follow along to. 

I chose to use the colours, and the circles from it for my inspiration and I made a CAS card featuring Java Spills.

I stamped the spills with Fired Brick and Peeled Paint distress inks and to embellish I added some gold sequins randomly around the card. The sentiment I used is from Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Waltzingmouse Stamps/Crafting Ireland Guest Feature

Good morning! Today I have a Waltzingmouse Stamps guest post over on Crafting Ireland. I created a fun beach scene using the My Island stamp set. 

Supplies

Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stamps My Island

Distress Inks - Frayed Burlap, Mustard Seed & Spiced Marmalade

Black Ink

Patterned Papers

Cardstock

Embellishments - Seashells & Fishing Net

3D foam dots

To create your scene first stamp out the background with Mustard Seed

Then stamp the sunset with Spiced Marmalade on top

And finally add your palm tree island with black ink. 

I created a shadow on the palm trees by offsetting with Frayed Burlap distress ink.

Design your card base deciding where you want to place your image. Cut a piece of fish net a little larger than your image and adhered into place with hot glue. 

Because the fish net is quite thick you will need to double up on 3D foam dots. 

Adhere your image onto the card front. I added a little more fishnet offcuts to the left of the image. 

Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of coordinating card and rip across the bottom. Adhere it just slightly under the image. Finally, hot glue some seashells around the card. 

This set contains many more elements for creating scenes. It would also be ideal for scrapbooking your vacations, family BBQs, creating invitations and other greeting cards. You can also avail of the My Island cut files, which you can find HERE

Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday - A Sketch!!

For this week's Bellariffic Friday we had a clean and simple sketch to follow...

and this is my take on it. 

My card features Posh has a Present. I stamped her out onto blending card and coloured her up with Copic markers. 

The papers are from Basic Grey Highline collects and I've matted them with pink cardstock on a white card base. To embellish I added some pink Pinflair Pearl Wand and part of a flag banner die cut.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday - Pins & Pearls

Good morning and happy Friday!! We have a new Inspiration Friday post over on the La-La Land Crafts blog and this week our theme is Pins and/or Pearls

Little Red - It's a Good Day

Good afternoon :) Just popping in with Cardz 'n' Scrapz DT card I made featuring Little Red, one of the fantastic Gorjuss stamp sets.

There are 10 pieces in total in this set, including the green leaves and apples on my card. I stamped Little Red onto Colouring Paper, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured her up with Copic Markers. Then I trimmed her out and adhered her to the card with 3D foam dots. 

I also coloured the leaves and apples with Copic Markers. 

The papers are from Basic Grey's Highline 6x6 collection. I've used white, red and green cardstock and layered a 4" white doily under Little Red. To embellish I added some cherry blossom flowers, leaves, a tree, some rolled roses and 5mm self adhesive pearls. I stamped out the sentiment, cut it at an angle, and curled up the end with a bone folder. 

The inside of the card is designed to coordinate with the front and I've also stamped a portion of Little Red, leaving her uncoloured.

WOW Embossing! - Time

This month our theme for WOW Embossing! is Time. It's been a while since I worked on a journal page so I took this opportunity to do just that. I love to create pages, but they are ridiculously hard to photograph, lol. 

All of my pages are primed with Gesso. The background has been painted with Blush Pink, Vanilla Bean & Periwinkle acrylic paints. I then used the Sexi-Hexi clear stamp with Primary Blue Topaz powder. 

I embossed my clocks with the limited edition Passion Fruit Glitter and adhered them to the page with wet glue. Then I added some metal hands, secured with matching brads. 

For extra shading I used gelatos around the clocks and the edges of the page. I also used them to highlight the sentiment. When everything had dried I took the Cracked Leather stamp and stamped it randomly around the page with Archival black ink.

Fabulous!

Dropping in today with a little something I made featuring Ariana, one of the Prima Mixed Media Wood Dolls and the Aquarelle Prima Tag Pad. 

I prepared the tag background by layering on some Prima papers with the edges inked. I took the Prima Checker Stencil and applied Brushed Corduroy distress ink with a sponge dauber and then applied gold embossing paste through the Prima Crackle Stencil. 

I simply coloured up Ariana with copic markers and added some Love Struck silks, from the Goodnight collection, to the shadows of her shirt. I layered on some lace and ribbon before adhering the doll and handbag accessory with 3D foam. 

The FABULOUS sentiment is from Heidi Swapp's Buzz Words Epoxy Stickers. To embellish I used some Prima Flowers, gold pearls and Tim Holtz Filmstrip.
