Waltzingmouse Stamps February Release

Hi and welcome to the start of the Waltzingmouse Stamps February Release. 

We have THREE new Stamp sets and FOUR new Dies to show you. We are shaking things up a little for this release - all of the new products will be available in the store from approx 7.15GMT TODAY and the Design Team will showcase each product over 4 days. 

Our first showcase will be of Special Lady, a 6x4 feminine vintage set perfect for upcoming Mother's Day and many more occasions. We also have a gorgeous Circle Dies set which produces a scalloped circle and also a scalloped aperture, and two word dies - Mother and a *mini Hello Die. 
*The mini Hello die will be given away, FREE to the first 40 people to place an order over £60GBP. 

I am featuring Special Lady and I made a card and gift tag set.

Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday - Flowers

I'm back with my second post of the day. If you are here for my La-La Land Crafts altered frame you can find it HERE, or keep on scrollin' down... 

This week, our Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday was all about FLOWERS! It could be the image you use, the papers, or even the embellishments. As long as it's a current Stamping Bella image and you have some kind of flower/flowers on there it's all good. 

I couldn't decide so, on my tag, I used an image with flowers, papers with flowers AND flower embellishments. I even used a flower grommet..... just to be sure to be sure! lol. 

I confess, something about this tag doesn't sit right with me and I've done it differently in my head numerous times, lol. I can't decide if I like or detest the pink flowery paper. We are our own greatest critics, huh?!

I waited all winter and was READY for snow but it didn't happen, I can't believe we are heading into Spring already.

Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday - Sketch

Hi! I'm back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for my La-La Land Crafts Valentine's project you can find it HERE, or keep on scrollin' down! :) 

This week's Stamping Bella inspiration was a sketch

 I made this cute Kitty Bag using the sketch featuring Smarty Cat. 

It comes with matching sentiment and 3 mini background stamps. The sentiment could not be any more true!! 

The bag itself is a Silhouette file. It cuts both the base and the designer papers to cover it. It's so easy.. like SERIOUSLY easy. I can't believe I left it this long to get a Cameo. It is the best.machine.ever!! 

I used copic markers to colour Smarty Cat - C1, C3, B000, B00, R20, R21

This coming week we are taking our inspiration from Flowers!! (Papers, embellishments, etc). If you would like your project featured on the blog next Friday just email your work to Emily by Thursday, February 19th.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday - Valentines!!

Hello!!! It's Friday.. the 13th.. lucky or unlucky? Some people believe it's an unlucky day, others believe it to be a very lucky day. How do you swing? Personally I don't find it any different to any other day, although I might just do the Euromillions lottery just in case ;) 

Tomorrow is the day of hearts, chocolates and flowers - Valentine's Day, and that is this week's Inspiration theme over on La-La Land Crafts. 

I made a little milk carton and featured Heart Cookies Luka and these Dies: Stitched ZigZags, Hanging Hearts & Love Word Set

Stamping Bella NEW RELEASE - Hoppy Poppy

Good morning!! I am back with my second card for the Stamping Bella NEW RELEASE. Today I am sharing a card featuring Nice To Meet You from the Hoppy Poppy collection. She is adorable!

I chose to do a CAS card keeping Poppy on a white background. The patterned paper I used is from Simple Stories "Hello Baby" paperpad. I embossed the white background card and adhered it flat to the card base. Poppy is raised on 3D foam dots, as is the sentiment.

Stamping Bella NEW RELEASE!!!

It's NEW RELEASE time at Stamping Bella!! 

We have NEW stamps from Mo Manning, NEW Uptown Girls AND we are introducing 2 new lines - Woodsies & Hoppy Poppy! You can see ALL of the new stamps, plus all of the shipping details, HERE on the Stamping Bella blog

My card today features Petunia & Penny take a Break, one of the new Woodsies collection stamps. These are just the cutest, and the sentiment/quote is adorable!! 

The sentiment comes complete as one quote but I cut it apart to suit the layout of my card. 

The papers I've used are Tea-Thyme from Prima Marketing and I've matted them with white and kraft cardstock. To embellish I added some Cherry Blossom flowers, gold pearl pen and a butterfly I cut from the papers.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday - Photo Inspiration

Good morning.. and Happy Birthday to Meeee!! lol. I can't believe I am turning 27 AGAIN.. how time flies, seems like only yesterday that I turned 27 for the first time :P I plan on doing absolutely NOTHING today, apart from the usual school runs, cleaning, cooking, laundry.. yah.. nothing! 

Anywhoo, on to my card.. 

This week our Inspiration theme for La-La Land Crafts is a photo inspiration. I just love the soft colours. 

This was my take on it. ..

Stamping Bella New Release Preview - Uptown girl Betty!

Hi!! Have you seen all the new NEW RELEASE sneak peeks over on the Stamping Bella Blog?? No?? Well why not??!! Go.. take a look.. they are FABULOUS! 

I got to play with Betty, one of the new Uptown Girls. Such fun to colour!! 

This stamp needs no frills so I kept my card very CAS, adding just an Honor Roll sticker and some pearls using the Viva Decor pearl pen. I created a frame around the image by scoring the paper from the back at 6mm (approx) all around.

WOW! Embossing Monthly Challenge - Inspired by a Fellow DT Member

Hi! Today I would like to share my project for this month's WOW! Embossing challenge which is to create a project inspired by a DT member. 

I chose Jennifer's Heart Canvas here...

and this is my inspired take on it...

I made a 5.75" square Valentine's card. I covered the chipboard heart on the front with patterned paper, sanded the edges and embossed them with Sparkling Snow embossing glitter. I embossed the With Love sentiment from Everyday Sentiments, with Ebony powder and stamped the heart with Festive Berries distress ink.

My first project is a Star Box. 

I painted the inside of the box with pink paint and used a grunge stamp with distress ink to add some flourishes. I covered the outside of the box with Prima patterned papers and I sanded the edges to smooth them out. I cut the quote from the Star Elements Set into separate words to make up my sentiment.
