Stamping Bella - Last Sneaky Peeky!!

Happy Sunday folks!!! It's a wet, wild and windy one here and it's not looking too good for tomorrow's Bank Holiday either. Things wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that we'll be out doing the Women's Mini Marathon and I'm just getting over the last virus the kids brought home from school. We won't be needing the Dublin fire service to hose us down this year, that's for sure!! lol.

Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday and a Sneaky Peeky!!

Howdy! I am back with my second post today. If you are looking for my La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday post you can find it HERE or keep scrolling down. 

This week our Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday theme was Anything Goes. We are also showcasing some of the upcoming NEW release and my stamp today is the NEW Close Ups - I DO! 

I coloured it up with copic markers

Skin - E000, E00, E11

Suit - C3, C5, C7, C9

Dress - C1, B000

Heart - R46

I used all white card and added embossing for texture. I embellished using Die cuts and white pearls. The flowers and flourishes are cut from white vellum. 

I finished with a little Rabbit Charm (available from my Esty Store) flossed with black twine.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday - Fussy Cutting

Good morning! I'm a little bit late with my La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday post this week - our internet has been absolutely horrendous since last Sunday and we can't get to the bottom of the problem. There is nothing as frustrating as a slow connection, am I right?!! Ugh! 

Anwhoo, this week our theme is FUSSY CUTTING and this is my card....

Stamp : Luka with Kite

Dies : Pretty Poinsettia, Groovy Elements

I kept the card a little bit on the CAS side, using only 2 strips of patterned papers. I created a border around the white card front using my bone folder on the scoring board. The hearts are fussy cut from the papers and they are popped up on foam dots. 

I coloured the image with copic markers:

Pants - R24, R43, R46

Luka is also mounted on 3D foam dots so the card has lots of dimension to it.

Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday - A Sketch!

Howdy!! It's time for another Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday and this week we had another sketch..

So, on to my card. I made a White on White card and featured Always Be Yourself, one of Christine Grove's gorgeous and quirky images.

I coloured the image with Copic Markers:

I added some Star Dust stickles to the wings, 'cause wings gotta sparkle! To embellish I simply added a single flower and popped a pearl in the centre.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday - Colour Inspiration.

Howdy folks and happy Friday!! It's been one of those weeks - I have a very unwell kiddo out from school and he's kindly passed on his germs to both myself and his dad :/ So this has been a week of getting things done at a much slower pace and involving a lot more effort. Hence being a few hours late with my Inspiration Friday card on La-La Land Crafts. However, I got there in the end and we have a great colour inspiration photo to follow along with....

I decided to use the bright colours and I have featured Groovy Marci along with these Dies - Groovy Elements, Groovy Border, Yin Yang Border on my card. 

The papers are ... I think Basic Grey. I have a few sheets left from the pack but the front of the pack is gone so I'm hazarding a guess here. lol.

WOW! Embossing - May Sketch Challenge

We have a great challenge for you over on the WOW! Embossing blog - just follow one of the sketches below and link your project up on this blog post for your chance to win some WOW! Embossing products.

This is my take on the challenge. I chose to follow the top left sketch - 

I used my papers, which are Sweet Pea from Kaisercraft, to create the layout of the sketch and then stamped lightly over the dotty paper with the De-Vine clear stamp and Brushed Corduroy distress ink.  I then cut a stitched oval from another designer paper and finally a cardstock oval on which I stamped my sentiment from the Make a Wish clear stamp set. 

Also from the Make a Wish set, I embossed a butterfly using Gold Satin Pearl powder. I trimmed it out using a scissors and added some gold pearl pen down the 'spine' of the butterfly. 

I die cut some flourishes from cream cardstock and embossed them with Chartreuse powder. I layered on my flourishes and flowers and finished off by adding some more of the gold pearl pen and some cream pearls to the flourishes.

Good morning!! After a wee blogging break I am back with my card for this week's La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday. 

Our theme is 

FOR A SPECIAL LADY. 

My card features Love You Marci, Garden Marci (sentiment) and these Dies - Pretty Poinsettia, Cherry Blossom Flowes, Cherry Blossom Branch, Heart Scroll Corners, Booktab and Labels, Honeycomb.
