Bellariffic Friday - A Sketch

Where to start?!! So... remember last week's post where I said I was all ready with books and uniforms and I was so organised that I should really start my own YouTube channel showing y'all how you could be as organised as me??!! Ya.. well take that little nugget, rip it up into a million pieces, throw it on the floor, jump up and down on it, pour gasoline over it and set a match to it! Here we are, 2 days before the little ones head back to school, and less than 24 hours before the teen starts college, and there are no books covered, uniforms are still in packaging, teen hasn't packed for college, we have no food in the house, hubby has been called away for the weekend... and my sanity fled, screaming something about madhouses and not enough money in the world to make it worth it..

Oh, and you know in the movies... when that one person gets left behind on the train, and they are frantically running through the carriages??.. yeah, that was my little ones today.. but that's a whole other story :/

This week our Bellariffic Friday theme was to use this sketch!
and this is my take on it..
I stuck pretty rigidly to the sketch, lack of imagination this week, lol, and I've featured Brittany the Birthday Girl.

Other supplies used:
Card - Papermilldirect
Papers - Simple Stories

Check out the Stamping Bella blog to see the rest of this week's Design Team creations

This coming week our challenge is Create your Own Background - eeeeeeks!!!!

Java Great Day!

Good afternoon! It's the last week of the summer holidays here and this girl is all ready for the kiddos to head back to school. We have uniforms, books, bags and lunchboxes at the ready. Princess is so looking forward to going back to see her friends, but Li'l Man is all very meh about it, lol. I still can't quite believe this will be his last year in Primary school - yikes!!

I have a little gift box to share with you today. I cut the majority of it on the silhouette but I also did some by hand as I changed it around a little.

btw - these things are seriously hard to photo!

This is the side view. It's a gift card drawer box with an easel card pocket and tag.. how's that for a mouthful?

This is inside the drawer. There is a gift card holder inside, but you could also remove that and use the drawer for a small gift, or cash ;)

The stamps and coordinating dies are from Waltzingmouse Stamps, and they're simply called Coffee Set and Coffee Set die set.

Front view - I cut a tag using Waltzingmouse Stamps Stitched tags dies. This could be used to write your personal message on.

The papers are "Coffee Break" from Prima Marketing and they are perfect for these stamps. Expect more projects like this in the near future! :P

Well that's it from me, though I will be back with a little something else I'm working on today. Don't you just LOVE rainy days?!!

C.C. Designs - Starla and Henry

This week I got some C.C Designs new release stamps and dies  in the mail so I made a couple of cards just for fun.

These little superhero stamps are crazy cute!

On the first card I used Sketch #4 from the CCD sketch challenge, but I went with a circle card instead of the rectangle shape. I cut the circles using Classic Circle Nestabilities. This little guy is Roberto's Rascals Super Hero Henry and his cheeky wink makes me smile. He reminds me of my littlest guy, too cute for his own good and knows when to turn on the charm!

The challenge also called for a CAS card so I used only a Star die to embellish.

Other products
Patterned papers - Simple Stories
Cardstock - Papermilldirect

My second card features Starla. I absolutely LOVE this one :) I made a shaped card, cut on the Silhouette. It is almost completely made from pink and white cardstock, with just one layer of patterned paper. It's been so long since I made a card with store bought flowers, I have been using die-cuts more and more.

Other products
Patterned papers - Prima
Cardstock - Papermilldirect
Pearl Pen
Twine flossed Button

Thanks for visiting today and have a wonderful Sunday
