Swiss Pixie Rose - C.C. Designs

Hi all!! Today I am popping in with a card I made for CC Design's January Challenge
The image I've used, Swiss Pixie Rose, is one I've had for quite a while and is, unfortunately, retired as far as I can tell. Such a shame, it's a great image that can be used for many occasions.

The challenge criteria was to use Pink, Red, and Black on a project, so I coloured the image in those colours and also used papers in those colours, lol. The papers are from Pink Paislee's Sectet Crush collection and are soooooooooo old. I'm on a mission to use up a lot of the older papers I've been hoarding away.

The dies are a selection from both C.C. Designs and from La-La Land Crafts.
The Hello word, hearts, fancy corners and pennant elements are from C.C Designs Quad Collage Die set.

Copics used
Skin - E000, E00, E11, E04, R21
Hair - E50, E51, E53, E33

Thanks so much for dropping by today. I'm hoping to get a little more active on my blog in the future instead of just posting to Instagram so please do check in again soon.

C.C. Designs - Starla and Henry

This week I got some C.C Designs new release stamps and dies  in the mail so I made a couple of cards just for fun.

These little superhero stamps are crazy cute!

On the first card I used Sketch #4 from the CCD sketch challenge, but I went with a circle card instead of the rectangle shape. I cut the circles using Classic Circle Nestabilities. This little guy is Roberto's Rascals Super Hero Henry and his cheeky wink makes me smile. He reminds me of my littlest guy, too cute for his own good and knows when to turn on the charm!

The challenge also called for a CAS card so I used only a Star die to embellish.

Other products
Patterned papers - Simple Stories
Cardstock - Papermilldirect

My second card features Starla. I absolutely LOVE this one :) I made a shaped card, cut on the Silhouette. It is almost completely made from pink and white cardstock, with just one layer of patterned paper. It's been so long since I made a card with store bought flowers, I have been using die-cuts more and more.

Other products
Patterned papers - Prima
Cardstock - Papermilldirect
Pearl Pen
Twine flossed Button

Thanks for visiting today and have a wonderful Sunday

Tickled Pink Challenges & a Party Duo

LOL!!  I have a bit of a picture heavy post for you today. I seem to make more cards than I can blog lately - good complaint I guess.

First up is my entry to Tickled Pink Stamps challenge, which is themed Blinging it Up. I am using the gorgeous 20's Evie, and Webster's Pages papers which have been distressed and inked. I've also added Star Dust to the edges of all my papers.

Loads of Prima bling and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers........

Sentiment by Lili of the Valley, hand cut as I found the circle nesties left too much border and the smaller one was just too small.

Just about everything on my card has been stickled to within an inch.... it sure sparkles!!!

7KidsChallenge - Seeing Spots
Crafty Pad  - Flowers
 Corrosive Challenges - Pastel Colours

Creative Card Crew - Emma's Sketch

Hello!! I hope you all had a great Monday. Mine was interesting, lol. My keys have been retrieved so the kiddos are safely in school today and I can get to doing the work I had planned on doing yesterday. But first I want to share a card with you...

On Creative Card Crew this week Emma has designed a beautiful sketch to work with. I am so in love with these CC Designs images and am slowly getting around to inking them up. How cute is this little one??!!

We are sponsored this fortnight by Simon Says Stamp

Heidi is kindly offering a $20 gift certificate as the prize to one lucky winner.
Anyone for Anya have a theme of "Lucky Numbers" this week and I thought the "4U" was a clever idea... even if it's by no means original, lol. Using a bingo card was my first instict but I didn't have any suitable ones. Aw well...

I coloured  my image using copic sketch markers. I really could not decide if she was sitting or standing so I went with standing.. but the more I look at it now, the more I believe she's actually sitting... haha! Too late now, eh?!

I cut the circle using nesties and then shaded the background with distress inks. Then I cut matching card with the scalloped circle nesties and mounted it onto 3D foam dots.

The border was punched using MS Scallop Dot punch and I've added some gorgeous lace too. My pins are from both Tabby Crafts (pearl top) and Wild Orchid (heart).

My flowers are also from Wild Orchid Crafts.. no surprise there!! I have used cherry blossoms (and inked the edges), 25mm roses and 10mm roses. Shock, horror.. I didn't use and stickles on them!! LOVE the different sizes and range of colours available.  I could do very serious damage to my credit card on this site.. lol.

So hop on over to the Creative Card Crew blog and see what the other girlies have come up with. If you do use the sketch this week please do link up so that I can visit you!

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful Tuesday!!
