Waltzingmouse Stamps May Blog Waltz

Good morning!! It's the 17th of the month and that means only one thing - Waltzingmouse Stamps monthly blog waltz!!! All you need to do is make a card/project with a masculine theme,  and post a link to  it on the forum here.

Full details of the montly waltzes can be found HERE.

I made a card for my 7yr old son who only a week ago sat on our driveway crying and insisting that he couldn't cycle his bike -  and now he's doing 3 mile bike trips with his dad and he's in the local cycling club!!

The stamps I've used on my card are from the Free Spirit Boy and Free Spirit Sentiments sets. The papers are Basic Grey Origins and they've been stitched onto black card. As it's a boy card and I couldn't add a gazillion flowers to it I just added some twine to embellish, lol.

Well that's it from me, don't forget to check out what the rest of the Waltzingmouse DT ladies have created.

Have fun!

WMS-Waltz-logo-final-w-text

Morning campers!! It's the 17th of the month and that means that it's time for the Waltzingmouse Stamps blog waltz!! This month our theme is EASTER {of course :D }

Full deets on our monthly waltz can be found HERE on Claire's blog. If you've not added your blog/gallery to the list of participants you can do so HERE... no worries if you're not already registered, it only takes a nano-second to register on the forum. Don't forget you can chat all about the Waltz HERE.

Just to confuse you all and lead you to believe you're on the wrong blog I went totally CAS with my cards today. Granted, it takes me twice as long to do a CAS card as it does for me to layer, layer, layer.. but I think I'm really getting to grips with the CAS concept.. or at least I think I am!!

Stamps - Spring Basket, Victorian Frippery, Vintage Labels 5
Inks - Ranger: Scattered Straw. Momento Tuxedo Black
Copics - R24, 26, 29. Y15, 17, 18. B00, 12

It's Friends of Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz time!!!

Good morning and welcome to the Friends of Waltzingmouse blog waltz. This month the theme is .. St. Patrick's Day/Irish, as it's St. Patrick's Day today, lol.

If you want to waltz along with us and you haven't yet linked up your project, head to the link list thread in the WMS Forum to link up your creation. There is also a thread for chatting about what you've seen along the way.

This month a random commenter will be chosen from the Waltz chat to receive a prize.

The very talented Ms. Mouse (Claire) has designed a free digi image, which is compatible with Spellbinders Labels Five dies, for anyone who wished to use it and I fell in love with it so I used it twice....

... and I made  a cute card/candy gift set.

For both the card and the candy jar I used the free digi image, which I coloured using copic markers,  and the Pic-nic patterns background stamp. I filled the jar with jelly snakes.. and for anyone who doesn't get why I used snakes you need to Wiki "St. Patrick" ;)

For the card I added some green & mustard cardstock.
