Basic Grey Challenges - Love is in the Air

Happy Saturday!! It's time for a new challenge over on Basic Grey Challenges and this fortnight we want to see lovey dovey smoochy projects ;) You can tell it's almost Valentine's Day, huh?? lol.

On my card today I used Basic Grey Konnichiwa and a Stamping Bella stamp called Catherine Nibbling Chocolate. 

I used my favourite colour combo - Pink/Teal - and coloured her with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps "All Occasions" sentiments set.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday - In Stitches

Good morning bloggers!!

Wow, I can't believe it's been a week since I left Anaheim after the CHA convention. It was a fun show but as always, we had a very busy  Make & Take table. You can find the projects we did HERE, HERE & HERE and you will see why they were so very popular!!! 

Anyway, on to today's Inspiration Friday from La-La Land Crafts. My card today features Sweet Friends Marci, Berry Flourish Die, String of Hearts Border Die and Rolled Roses Die (Small/Medium)

 Marci has been coloured with copic markers - 

Skin: E000, E00., E11, R20

Hair: E13, E23, E25, E27

Dress: BG13,BG15, BG18. R43, R45

Hairbands: R43, R46

Teddy.Boots: E51, E53, E55, E57

The design of the card is a Circle Easel card. To make the card I cut out a scalloped circle card base, folded the top part in half, then created my card front on another scalloped circle before adhering it to the top half of the scalloped base. 

My papers are from Authentique and I've added the faux stitching with a copic multiliner. To embellish I've added some white pearls on the base and in the centre of the roses.

DT Quixotic Paperie - Saturated Canary: Breathe

Hello!! Today I have a card to share which features one of the new release Saturated Canary stamps that are available for pre-order right now over on the Quixotic Paperie Store. To celebrate the new release, all Saturated Canary stamps are 10% off for a limited time only.

The stamp I've used is called Zumba Chick and she is just so.much.fun!

My papers are from Basic Grey and they've been machine stitched down onto coordinating cardstock. I layered up my papers adding a white doily in between. To embellish I've added some lime green polka dot ribbon & pearls from my stash, flowers, crystal gems & lace from Wild Orchid Crafts and a Tim Holtz Idea-Ology 'Breathe' trinket tied with bakers twine.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Release Blog Hop

La-La Land Crafts CHA Release Showcase

Good morning!! It's time for La-la Land Craft's CHA Release Showcase. Both teams have got to together to create an amazing array of samples using the new STAMPS & DIES! 

My card features Beret Marci, Eiffel Tower Die, Heart Banner Die, Rolled Roses (Sm) Die & the new Bench Die!! 

I coloured Marci with Copic Markers:

I went with the whole colours of the flag theme, lol. My papers are En Francais from Prima and they've been machine stitched onto heavy cardstock. I layered the dies and added some white self adhesive pearls to the centre of the rolled roses. This stamp also comes with 2 matching sentiments and I've chosen to use Embrace  Happiness.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Release Previews & Krafty Challnege

How AWESOME were those robots that we previewed yesterday in the BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED stamp set?? So fun!!  

So, today on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog we have a new challenge AND we are previewing the brand new ANNIE stamps for JANUARY 2013!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Release Previews Day One

Well it's 2013 and Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is startin' things off with a BANG!!! We have tons of awesome new stamps for our first release of the year AND we're having our very first ONLINE RELEASE PARTY!!! We are kicking off the *New* JANUARY Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our GORGEOUS….HANDMADE TRINKETS!!

What a fabulous new set of Trinkets, wouldn't you say??? Here you are, creating all these gorgeous cards and gifts to give to your family and friends....and now you can stamp them up to show YOU made them!! 

There are SIX fantastic stamps featuring images from our artists that you can use for the backs of your cards, for gift cards, altered items and all those baked goods you plan on giving out!! *wink* 

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the Handmade Trinkets set which includes SIX trinkets in each set PLUS two tiny little copyright stamps so that you can stamp them in a tiny little obscure spot on your creations if you want! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

Hi all! Just flying by quickly with a card I made for Alicia's Little Shop's challenge, which features her Photographer digital stamp.

Apologies for the poor quality of the pictures, I have a 7yr old crafting with me and she's taken over where my light tent usually goes.  I hope to replace the photos later :)

I then drew the polaroid effect around her using a copic multi liner. I shaded the background with Tumble Glass distress ink.

DT Little Darlings Rubber Stamps - Fresh Picked Flowers, and Hearts!!

Hi everyone! It's my turn to post some Design Team inspiration over on the Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Inspiration blog. The theme we are following this month is Hearts & Flowers and the image I'm showcasing is Fresh Picked Flowers. 

I used Chocolate Covered Cherry papers, one of  Little Darlings Rubber Stamps collections. I layered them up and rip distressed the edges. 

I coloured up my image with copic markers, trimmed her out and mounted her on to the tag with 3D foam dots. I also added some die cuts, which have also been mounted on 3D foam for extra dimension. The Heart Banner Die is from La-La Land Crafts new release dies. 

The sentiment I've used is from the All Occasions collection.
