Good morning! Today, oven on Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenges there is a very special sketch, which rmarks our 100th challenge. I was asked by my husband (at VERY short notice I might add!!) to 'throw together' a card for a work colleague who was leaving -THAT SAME DAY!! eep!! Male cards are like a foreign language to me. I love flowers and pearls and bling but was under strict instructions to make something that basically thumped the recipient on the back in an ever so manly way! lol.
The papers I've used I've had for a LONG time. It was a relatively inexpensive paper pack from Hot off the Press called Time for Fun. Very masculine and perfect for my card. I matched it with kraft and black cardstock.
The dies I've used are Nestabilites postage stamps and La-la Land Crafts Wave Border. cut out using the Grand Calibur. I used Chicken Wire on the backgound and Compact Sentiments stamped out with Momento black ink. The metal Shamrock charm is from Blue Moon.
