Tickled Pink Challenges & Colour Me Creative

Hi everyone. Wow, no update since Sunday. I've been having blogger issues all week but I think my sickly laptop is partly to blame. Time to start saving for a new one!

My next card is very late in posting due to my blogger issues. Colour Me Creative would love to see your favourite copic technique on your project. I chose to blend 3 colour families - Y, YG & G

• You may want to try one or more of these  techniques: feathering, coloring embellishments, airbrushing, bridging colors, folds, hair colors, colorless blender techniques, black/white/sepia, and more!

Do You Stack Up GDT

Good morning! I was very pleased to be invited as guest designer for Do You Stack Up after being selected as one of their Top 3 recently.

The challenge theme is Scallops and here is what I made using the image provided to me, which is called Gabrielle with Lamb.

I am just loving pink & blue at the moment. These papers are from Papermania and I've had them a long time. I used some scalloped lace to tie in with the theme of the challenge.

Bitten by the Bug...

... a Mima Bug to be exact!! Have you seen Kirsty Wiseman's new Buglet range? They are super cute and come in both digi and polymer cling stamps. There are also some very fabby sentiments to co-ordinate with the Buglets. Have a peeksy over HERE.. you won't be able to resist. Don't say I didn't warn you. I accept no responsibility for enabling... I have a hard enough time from stopping myself.

Of course Mima is just my very favourite {at the moment!!}. How sweet is she?!.. and her little teddy.. cuteness overload!!

I've been on a mission to use up scraps of papers and half used paper pads that are fast taking over my stash area and these Papermania papers have been sitting here, unloved,  for.ev.er!! I matted them with blue and pink cardstock and machine stitched them all together {saves a fortune in adhesive!!}

I trimmed Mima out and mounted her on 3D pop dots on top of a white {heart} doily. To embellish I used some Wild Orchid flowers, ribbon and pink pearls. The sentiment is by Waltzingmouse Stamps and is from the Fancy Phrases set.

Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge & CES Bold and Bright

Good morning and happy Saturday. I have 2 cards to share today, each very different. 

First up is the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challlenge. Another wonderful sketch to follow. I took a few liberties with this one but you can still see the original sketch in my card. 

My papers are Rose Garden, by Papermania and I've inked them with Brushed Cordoroy distress ink. Stamps are from both the Afternooon Tea Sentiments and Vintage Ornaments collections. I've added some white lace and pink distressed seambinding and finished off by stitching all of my papers.

Next up is CES Challenges and this week we would like to see BOLD & BRIGHT! So this is about as bold and bright as I get. 

I also followed the sketch on The Sugar Bowl. My Sassy image has been coloured using copic sketch markers. The papers are Magnolia's Fairytale collections and they've been machine stitched. Lace and flowers are from Crafty Emma's Store. Simply Sassy are having a guest DT call at the minute so if you're interested you need to make a card using a Sassy image and your own style of crafting.

PDD Tuesday - For You

I made this card with 3 challenges in mind:

1. Sketch Saturday with sketch #65
2. Basic Grey Challenges with a colour combo of Pink/Brown/Yellow
3. Anyone for Anya with "Sugar & Spice & All Things Nice". What could be more girly than this colour combo, pearls, gems, flowers and the sweet Anya image ;)

I coloured my image with distress inks and added some glossy accents to the hair bands. Then I distressed the background with Tattered Rose. The sentiment is Studio G.
