"For this weeks challenge we would like you to use this colour combo :)
Black + Grey + 1
Now you may be asking what does the +1 mean, well this means that you can choose the third colour for your creation :), sounds like fun doesn't it :), now don't forget that you must also use at least 1 item from basicgrey somewhere on your creation, so have fun and we can wait to see your wonderful creations and what third colour you have chosen :)"

My third colour is Orange. I used BG Ambrosia which were just perfect for this challenge. There were so many fabulous papers to choose from in this range.

PDD Friday!!

CUPCAKES!!! Doesn't everyone love them?? I know I sure do :)

I used the Polkadot Pie Chocolate Treats 1 from Pez-A-Doodle Designs to make this card. I stamped one cupcake onto acetate/transparency and cut it out, then stamped one cupcake onto my paper, masked it with the acetate and then stamped the other to make them side by side like that. Then I stamped 6 of the mini cupcakes from the same set and coloured them all using distress inks. I used 3D foam dots to adhere all the cupcakes so that they pop out from the papers. Then I added stickles for a touch of sparkle and finally I used a Studio G sentiment to finish it off.

All linked items above are available at Pez-A-Doodle Designs and in celebration of National Scrapbooking Day, all day Saurday and Sunday EVERYTHING - every single thing - in the store is 33%off!!! Tilda & Edwin...

I am soooo busy this week but here are two more cards I made over the past couple of days. I love both images! The purple papers I've used on the Tilda card are MME 29th Street Market - Carefree range and they are my all time favourite papers. I still have a full set :)

I coloured both images and distressed the backgrounds with distress inks and used stickles on the flowers on the Tilda card. I love the purple sprites and they match so well to the papers.

Well, that's it for now.. back to the grindstone..

Card ingredients: (all linked items are found at Pez-A-Doodles Designs)
Papers : MME, Papermania

3 Cards - 2 Challenges

I couldn't decide between 2 colours of cardstock when I decided to do the Papertake Weekly Challenge, so... seeing as I was going to do the Magnolia Vs. Stampavie challenge also I decided to use the same patterned paper and but a different cardstock on each card. I was amazed at how that one element changed the whole look of the colour scheme. I also used the same colour inks to colour both images.

So this is the one I made for Papertake Weekly (using the hot pink card!!)
"Onto this weeks challenge which is to use spots and stripes on your project - you can make anything you like for the PTW challenge so yes to all scrapbook pages and altered items!"

And I made this one for the Magnolia Vs. Stampavie challenge.. (using Pear Bazzil Cardstock).
