Tilda & Edwin...

I am soooo busy this week but here are two more cards I made over the past couple of days. I love both images! The purple papers I've used on the Tilda card are MME 29th Street Market - Carefree range and they are my all time favourite papers. I still have a full set :)

I coloured both images and distressed the backgrounds with distress inks and used stickles on the flowers on the Tilda card. I love the purple sprites and they match so well to the papers.

Well, that's it for now.. back to the grindstone..

3 Cards - 2 Challenges

I couldn't decide between 2 colours of cardstock when I decided to do the Papertake Weekly Challenge, so... seeing as I was going to do the Magnolia Vs. Stampavie challenge also I decided to use the same patterned paper and but a different cardstock on each card. I was amazed at how that one element changed the whole look of the colour scheme. I also used the same colour inks to colour both images.

So this is the one I made for Papertake Weekly (using the hot pink card!!)

And I made this one for the Magnolia Vs. Stampavie challenge.. (using Pear Bazzil Cardstock).

Just Magnolia - Week 2 - Pink & Green

Pez-A-Doodle Stamp Release #3 & SC225

Split Coast Stampers Sketch

After receiving so many stamped images in the mail yesterday I'm totally spoiled for choice!! So I'm gonna work my way through them one by one, and enjoy doing it too :)



This particular image jumped out at me today, isn't she just so pretty?!! This is the first Miss Anya that I've used. I coloured her with TH distress inks. The papers are Sassafrass Lass 'Starry Night' and I just used some black cardstock to make it stand out. The sentiment is a Studio G.

Just Magnolia

Christening Cards

Here are 2 christening cards I made recently.

Love the sweet Magnolia image on this one. I used Liquid Pearls to colour her dress and feet and TH distress inks for her hair. A touch of stickles on her wings just finished her off perfectly. I embossed the card using the Swiss Dots folder.

For this card I used Wedding Bazzil cardstock and embossed it with the cute image/quotation. Added some pink card and pink & gold ribbon to make it girly :) The date stamp is by Imaginisce and the ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

Good morning!! Today is the day!!! YAY!! Release Hint #3

Well today it's my turn to give you a *little* hint on the first of Pez-A-Doodles new release stamps.

I think this might totally give it away, but hey, cryptic clues would be no fun!

New Releases!!

I'm very excited to announce that there will be 3 new Pez-A-Doodle Designs exclusive stamps released soon and from tomorrow (Monday 13th) myself and the other DT members will be giving *little* hints as to what they are!! LOL. Instead of giving the usual sneak peeks of projects using the stamps we'll be using images, videos, etc. If you guess correctly and you could win yourself some digi images!!

For the first stamp release you'll get 3 days of hints from 3 DT members starting TOMORROW with Catherine!! The official release day for the first stamp is April 16th. That's also the day when we BLOG HOP!! I've never done a blog hop before and am really looking forward to it!!

And once the first stamp is realeased the fun begins all over again for the release of stamp #2!!!! ... then we'll do it all again for the 3rd time!!!

Gorjuss with BLINGS!

I got to make my first 'Gorjuss' card today! Seriously cute images :)


As always I coloured my image with distress inks. The only thing I don't like about these is that there are not enough colours! Tim needs to get working on that for me, lol.

See the cute little cubes of bling beside my image?? Well they are Pez-A-Blings... new and exclusive to Pez-A-Doodles.. go check them out. They come in all different colours and sizes too. Cute little pieces of candy for your projects ;)

The papers are MME Laundry Line and each sheet is glittered!! So, to tie it all together out came the stickles and I put a glittery frame around the image and sentiment :) The sentiment is, of course, a Studio G stamp.

Invitations

I was recently invited to make some Wedding Invitation samples, for display purposes. I couldn't see any reason not to (aside from the *mere* fact that I'd never done any before) so I gave it my best shot. These are what I came up with.


I made a couple more and am happy enough with all of them. Each invite came with a RSVP card.

(Just a quick tip... never tuck ribbon behind your card if you decide to do some last minute embossing with the cuttlebug!! ugh!! Live and learn, lol. )

Studio G Challenge 5 - SGC5

I made this cute Easter Treat Holder as part of Studio G's challenge. I love these Easter stamps!!! Check them out, and other Studio G sets over at Pez-A-Doodles :) You won't be disappointed!!

I did have visions of placing this little cutie in the grass, surrounded by all the lovely chocolate bunnies and egss to get a great picture.. but mother nature messed up my plans with typical Irish weather - RAIN!! So, my kitchen table it is ;)

My very first DT creation :) !!

I officially started on Pezadoodles DT today **YAY** My box of goodies arrived just in the nick of time too :) There was soooooooo much to play with but one stamp in particular caught my eye and I decided to use it for my first PDD Wednesday :)



The gorgeous swirl and butterfly stamp is an exclusive to Pezadoodles and I just love it!!! I used Brushed Corduroy distress ink for both the stamp and the edge distressing, and the little sentiment is from Studio G. And to finish off I added a touch of copper stickles to the edges of the little vellum butterfly - just to make him sparkle ;)
