Hi everyone. Today I'm sharing how I made these Oddball Easter Bunny Baskets. These are so quick and easy to make and they are great gifts for adults and kids alike.
Coloured card
Designer paper
Scoring board and bone folder
Circle and scalloped circle dies
Pennant die
How to:
Stamp Oddball Easter Bunny and one of the Easter Sentiments onto white card
Colour the image and cut out using a circle die, first cutting around the ear and slipping the die behind.
Cut out a larger scalloped circle and cut the sentiment out using a pennant die.
Adhere the image to the scalloped circle and set aside to make the basket
For the basket, cut one piece of card measuring 7.5" x 7.5". Score at 2.5" and 5", flip 90 degrees and score at 2.5" and 5" again. You will have 9 squares measuring 2.5" x 2.5"
Cut on one side, on the scorelines, up to the intersecting scoreline. Repeat on the side opposite.
For the paper layers, cut 6-8 squares measuring 2 3/8" x 2 3/8". You will need 8 squares if you are adhering paper to the centre panel. On this sample I used 6.
Adhere the paper paper squares to the outside squares.
Fold in the outer flaps to make and cross over as shown. The wider the gap at the top, the longer your basket will be.
Repeat on the other side.
To make the handle, curve a 12" x 1" piece of patterned paper over your fingers
Fill with Easter candies and chocolate bunnies.
