Stampin for the Weekend meets PDD Friday

TGIF, lol!! Today's card  is my combined DT entry for PDD Friday, PaperPlay Challenges and Stamping for the Weekend.

On PaperPlay Challenges it was my turn to set the challenge and I went with one I'm sure everyone will like.. Favourite Embellishment!! My favourite has to be RIBBON (and flowers, and charms, and... lol )!!

For my card I used Tilda with Tinsel image that I bought from Magnolia Sweden. I've coloured her with distress inks. I've shaded the background lightly with Pine Needles. I then added Star Dust stickles to the tinsel.

I used 2 grungeboard snowflakes from the Seasonal collection and painted them with Picket Fence crackle paint. Instead of being patient and waiting for it to dry I used my heat gun, haha, so that I could add the Frosted Lace stickles. The thing I find great about the frosted lace is that is seems to have more texture than the other clear stickles and it is brilliant for things like snowflakes and icicles. I finished off my card by using a little sentiment from Studio G Christmas collection.
