Anyone for Anya? - Christmas in August

Good morning. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. We are off out in a bit while the rain has stopped. At this point we're all in dire need of some fresh air. - guess I'll be getting plenty of that from Tuesday on as we're going camping ..eeek!!

This week on Anyone for Anya? we have a Christmas in August theme, just to be a little different, lol.

We are being sponsored by Karen's Doodles and the prize is 2 fabby digi images.

My Santa is CC. Designs digi and I've coloured him using copic markers and added Polar white flower soft to the 'fur' on his outfit. I outlined him to make him 'pop' off of the paper. I've using circle nesties to cut out the circle and shaded the background with bundled sage distress ink.

My papers are one of my all time favourites - Basic Grey Figgy Pudding. I'm still hoarding a pack and am using up scraps sparingly from the last pack I cut into, lol.

I got my ribbon from Fanstastic Ribbons - excellent value @ 20 rolls for £25 AND there is so much choice!! I've linked it up for reference only.. I can't be held responsible for any impromptu spending sprees!!

My fabulous poinsettia and leaves are from a jar of Prima Floral Embellishments. I just added a white button threaded with scrappers floss to the centre.

Be sure to check out the Anyone for Anya? blog to see what my very talented teamies' have created for Christmas in August.

Happy Crafting

This is so gorgeous. Makes me wish Christmas were here already. I don't think I could part with my figgy scraps. :) Oh, and love the outlining around Santa.
