PDD Friday - Whiff of Joy/Papertake Weekly/BG Challenge - Stampin' for the Weekend

What a manic week!! Finally, the kids are all back in school :) But of course now it's school runs and lunches and uniforms and traffic and 3 different schools.... lol.

I did, however, get to catch up with some challenges this week!! Apologies in advance, this is a LOOOOOONG post... :$

Stampin' for the Weekend

This week the challenge on Stampin' for the Weekend is a wonderful sketch by Donna. Our sponsor is Simon Says and the prize being offered by Heidi is a $25 gift certificate for the store!!

Be sure to play along to be in with a chance of winning this wonderful prize, and do check out the other DT members blogs to see what they all came up with.

Ingredients:
Image: Gorjuss Girl
Papers: PM Nostalgia Warm
Distress Inks, Stickles (wings), Brads, Ribbon
Flowers: Prima
Nestability circles & scalloped circle, Cuttlebug

This is my DT card for Pezzy's Playgroup this week and I'm also entering it as my DT card on PaperPlay Challenges which was set by Kate and her challenge was 'No Pattern/Design Paper'. I decided to go for a clean & simple style and my card is totally make from cardstock. I ran the orange card through the cuttlebug to emboss the spiderweb pattern and added cute little spider skittlebugs. I added black stickles to the orange card title and also around the purple card. The ribbon is from my stash. Don't forget to check out all of other DT members blogs, we have some wonderfully talented ladies :)

  • Challenge #47 asks for a colour combo of Teal & Orange. This is the 2nd week in a row I've used these colours for a challenge and I still can't get over how great they are together!! I love it :)
  • Basic Grey Inspiration Challenge ( I used the colours: orange, teal, white)

  • Papertake Weekly has sketch #23 to follow:

Katharina is also having a GDT Call so I've decided to enter this card and cross my fingers (and toes) that I might just get picked!! You can enter as often as you like as long as they are NEW cards and you MUST use at least one WOJ stamp :)
Ingredients:
Image: Whiff of Joy Willow
Papers: BG Marrakech, MME Penny Lane
Flowers: Prima & mini roses
Distress inks, Glimmer Mist (copper)
Sentiment: Whiff of Joy Summer Kit.

Today I get the pleasure of giving my home some TLC, it's been sorely neglected all week long and it's beginning to show. I still hope to sneak a *little* bit of crafting time in there too ;)
TFL!!
