Good afternoon. This week on Tickled Pink Stamps we would love to see you use some music sheet on your projects.

There is a beautiful music paper in the new My Mind's Eye Lost & Found 'Sunshine' paper pad. This pad has to be one of my favourite pads ever {I say that A LOT!!, lol} because it consists primarily of 2 of my favourite colours - Teal & Mustard. The notebook paper behind my image is from a pack of vintage embellishments I bought from Ebay a while ago - only getting to use them now!! 

I matted and stitched my papers onto a mustard cardstock, added some vintage looking flowers, lace and peals and finished off with a Tim Holtz Adage ticket.

Hi! I had a bit of a crafty day yesterday as my internet is playing up on me again. It's painfully slow and driving me nuts!! 

This week's Just Magnolia & hAnglar stAnglar Challenges want to see funny sentiments on your cards. I had this image coloured up earlier in  the week while practicing the 'no lines/ghost' image technique so I turned it into a card and created a computer genterated sentiment. 

I'm sure you'll agree that most of us can relate to the sentiment on my card, lol.

The challenge on Sugar Nellie's Facebook Group this week is BLACK. You can use as much or as little as you want as long as you use some black on your cards. 

I inked up one of the sexy Sassy girls and went straight for black hair, not something I would normally do. The papers are My Mind's Eye Meadow Lark matted with black cardstock and a white border done with Martha Stewarts Doily lace punch.

Digi Design House GDT - Dry Emboss

The new challenge is up over on Digi Design House and this week the challenge is to dry emboss. 

I have used the wonderful Back to School digi set. I dry embossed my papers with the Swiss Dot folder and then sanded them to bring up the dots more.

Remember, you don't have to use DDH images but you will get an extra entry into the draw for a free digi set of your choice if you do.

Hi!! Happy Sunday! I hope you're having a very peaceful day where ever you are today. Our household is having a lazy pyjama Sunday filled with popcorn, movies and a little colouring ;) 

I have a few things to share that I made over the week.. starting with a card I made for the Sugar Bowl Challenges. 

I had to resize some of the elements of the sketch to suit my image as she's quite tall {lucky her!!}.

The papers are Graphic 45 'Steampunk', dark brown cardstock and kraft card. All of my papers have been machine stitched - I love how the double row around my image turned out.

Next is 2 tags I made for Some Odd Girl. 

This first one is for their current challenge and for their Facebook Guest Challenge, which is to use 2 complimenary colours from the colour wheel. You just can't fail a with Green/Orange combo!

The second one was also for the Facebook Challenge. I made a double tag, the back one being a money tag.. or it could be used to hold a gift card.

Funny thing - I forgot I put the money in there to take the photos, put the tag away and only found the money when I was showing my little one the tag days later, lol. 

The papers are Afternoon Muse and they were in the kit I won from Lucky Girl Crafts. I am LOVING this kit!!

Colo{u}r Me Creative & Basic Grey Challenges

Good morning! We have a new challenge over on Colo{u}r me Creative - Winged Things with Butterfly Inspiration. You don't necessarily have to use butterflies, you can use any winged thing. 

We are being sponsored by the very lovely Zoe from Make it Crafty and she has kindly given the DT some fabulous images to work with. I have merged 3 images together to create my scene - Notti, Snap Dragon Garden and Whimsical Mushroom. 

 I kept my layout very clean and simple so as not to take away from the image. I've coloured the image using copic markers - way too many to list - and created the sky with Tumbled Glass distress ink and a large brush. 

The papers are from one of my My Mind's Eye's new collections, Lost & Found2 "Breeze" and I've machine stitched them down onto dark blue cardstock from The Paper Mill. The fabric strip and flossed button are from my stash. 

And of course no winged image is complete without some Star Dust Stickles applied to make their wings magic ;)

Basic Grey Challenges 

This week on Basic Grey Challenges we have a free for all .. yep, Anything Goes this week.. as long as you use Basic Grey products somewhere on your creation that is ;) 

I got some new Sassys in the mail this week and have been having lots of fun inking them up! This little beauty is called City Girl.

My papers are scraps of Basic Grey 'Granola' that I had left. They are usually one of my GoTo boy papers but I followed the sketch over on The Sugar Bowl and they have an optional colour theme of Blue, and I thought these papers worked well with the blue image. I used a scrap of white card and my MS Cornice punch to do the border work.

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge

The challenge over on Kraftin' Kimmie this week is a Recipe and they want to see 1 ribbon, 1 flower and 1 piece of chipboard. 

I recently bought this fabulous Cinderella stamp and couldn't wait to ink her up. Don't you just LOVE her dress??!! 

Not for the life of me can I remember what my papers are but they are lovely, lol. The chipboard is  Round Leaves from Make it Crafty and I've covered it with white and blue acrylic paint.

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge & DT Whiff of Joy

Hi!  It's time for another challenge over at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges and this week we've got an easy one for you - Anything Goes.

I have used one of the fabulous Li'l Tomboyz Pinkettes, called Lil Pinkette Tom Boyz Pippa and I've coloured her all girly girl pink!!! lol, then I trimmed her out and mounted her on 3D dots. 


I made a circle card from my circle and scalloped circle nestabilities.

My papers are Basic Grey Sweet Threads and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley. I added some Star Dust Stickles to my flowers and around the sentiment.

Whiff of Joy DT

I  made a 2nd circle card, this one for Whiff of Joy, using one of the new release stamps from August 1st - Huge Love. I just adore Henry Mouse and love this stamp!!!

I went very clean and simple with this one because I didn't want to cover up the beautiful My Mind's Eye paper, so I just added a little touch of baker's twine and some flat backed pearls to embellish.

Waltzingmouse Stamps August Blog Waltz

Good morning and welcome to Waltzingmouse Stamps August Blog Waltz. Our theme for this month is Tea/Coffee and you can find all the details on how you can join in HERE on Claire's blog.

The Waltzingmouse DT have another agenda for this month's waltz - and that is to bid two of our dear friends/design team colleagues adieu! Sadly we are losing both Bonnie and Carly :(  So we have made our cards in honour of these wonderfully talented ladies who will be sorely missed.

My papers are from the Lost & Found 2 Blush Collection from My Mind's Eye. I am LOVING these papers. I've paper pieced the tea pot {from the Afternoon Tea stamp set}, cut it out using circle Nestabilities and matted it with a scalloped circle. The sentiment is from Say it Loud and I've broken it up onto 2 mini tags, which I tied together with bakers twine. 

I added some white rose trim, pearl topped pins and flat backed pearls to embellish and I decorated the inside of the card to match.

Whiff of Joy DT & Just Magnolia/hAnglar & stAnglar Challenges

Afternoon!!! It's a hot and sunny day here and you'd think that would mean peace and quiet while the kids played outside.. well you'd think that anyway!!! Alas, things are not always that simple, because along with sunshine and heat we have wasps.. so we have screaming girls all over the place.. and woah.. they can scream!!!

Anywhooooo.. I have 2 cards to share today. My first card if for Whiff of Joy DT  card using the new Travel and Adventure stamps featuring our furry friend, Henry Mouse. There are 9 stamps in total including sentiment which have matching dies. 

The image I used is called Campfire Fun I used copic markers to colour him in and do the dirt and I used distress ink with a thick paintbrush to do the sky.

My papers are from the new Lost & Found 2 "Breeze" Collection and I've matted and stitched them to kraft cardstock. I've made the picket fence behind Henry using one of Whiff of Joy's new dies, and added some pearls and flossed buttons to finish off.

My second card is for Just Magnolia and hAnglar & stAnglar Challenges, and their theme is Holiday Fun. 

My love of Magnolia has be reignited from my recent GDT sting on Just Magnolia and I just had to play along.

My papers are by Pink Paislee and they are from the Butterfly Garden collection. I've matted them with pink and green cardstock,  stitched them down and added a white doily. I've coloured Tilda with copic markers, trimmed her out and mounted her on 3D pop dots.

The flower and seam binding are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The Prima pearl swirls, bookplate and sentiment stickers are from the wonderful kit I recently won on Lucky Girl Crafts.

Sugar Bowl Challenge and Lovely hAnglar Only

Hi everyone. I've had a great few days of mojo being at full capacity so I made the most of it. I have 2 cards to share, one for The Sugar Bowl and one for Lovely hAnglar Only challenges. 

I LOVE this stamp. I have been after her for a long time and finally got to buy her last week. I used the sketch, and optional colour theme - Blue, from The Sugar Bowl

 I have no clue who my papers are from, they've been in my stash for.ev.er!! I matted and stitched them onto blue cardstock from The Paper Mill.

The challenge on Lovely hAnglar Only is Holiday. I've been itching to use this cute stamp and thought it as a perfect image for the theme, lol. 

My paper are from a kit I won on Lucky Girl Craft and are Afternoon Muse. I'd never heard of that brand before but they are just fabulous!! The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy's new August release

My sweet image is called Witch Marci

My papers are Basic Grey Eerie matted and stitched onto black cardstock. 

I made my flowers using Whiff of Joy flower dies and some buttons from my stash. The sentiment and inside verse are from Waltzingmouse Stamps new Halloween release. The spider skittles are from Pez-A-Doodle.
