Stamp Something - Green & Cream, An Award and Some News!!

Good morning!! Well as the title of this post suggests, I have quite a bit to share today.

First is my Stamp Something DT project.  This week our theme is Green & Cream and we are being sponsored by Bunny Zoe Crafts.

gif maker

and the prize up for grabs is a Tilda Coloring Egg stamp from the Hoppy Easter Magnolia Stamp Collection and the wonderful Bow Easy tying tool. ( I seriously want that bow easy.. can I enter?? lol)

I used Magnolia's Sweet Tilda for my card. She is available on Bunny Zoe Crafts HERE. I've coloured her using distress inks and added a little dot of inkessentials gel pen to highlight her cheeks.

I followed the sketch over on Magnolia-licious Highlites, added a charm as requested by Creative Inspirations, handmade my flowers for Crafty Creations and it also fits into the Fussy and Fancy Friday challege "Green".

My papers are also from Magnolia and I have edged them with forest moss distress ink. I added some cotton lace and tied ribbon over it then I placed 2 pins down into the bow securing them underneath with glossy accents.

hmm, I recently saw a tutorial on how to do these handmade flowers.. I will search for it and post a link. The wonderful Michelle showed me how to make them :) So simple!

Please don't forget to pay my teamies a visit and leave them some love. Links are over there -->

Friday Sketchers and more...

This week the sketch on Friday Sketchers is by Claudia Rosa. My card also fits some other challenges....

I used another fab Bildmalarna stamp called Flying Tossa. I've coloured her using distress inks and added an adhesive pearl for the button on her coat.

I've blinged up my card using Prima pearl swirls, stickles and self adhesive pearls. The large flower on my image has been coloured with Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet and then I added a touch of stickles to the petals. I just adore these new pink inks.

Papers: BG Sugar Rush & Bazzil cardstock
Image: Bildmalarna 'Flying Tossa'
Tools: Distress inks, circle nestabilities, cuttlebug, x-cut 3D butterfly punch, star dust stickles.
Pearls, flowers, ric rac, adage ticket and pearl swirls from my stash.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Crafty Angels and some challenges

We have a great challenge over on Crafty Angels this week. Evonne has picked the theme and she wants to see butterflies on your creations.

I followed Sketch Saturday's sketch, Whiff of Joy's theme of 'Coffee & Cream', ABC Challenges want some PaperPiecing, Crafty Creations want Monochromatic and A Spoonful of Sugar are asking for Beads so I am entering into these challenges also :)

My papers are (again) PM Nostalgia Warm and they've been inked and edged with Brushed Cordoroy distress ink. I've paperpieced the image with the same papers.

The sweet image is from Whiff of Joy, as is the sentiment. I used 3D pop dots on the image to give the card more dimention

The gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and as always they have been stickled to add some sparkle.

The tiny butterflies are from a Craft Tonic punch set I bought 'way back when' and it's been in the back of a cabinet ever since, lol.

Thanks for looking and have a great Monday!! Don't forget to check back later, I will be adding CANDY!!!

Just Magnolia Challenge

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great weekend :)

This week Just Magnolia are having their special Monthly Challenge and it involves making a tent card. I'd never heard of a tent card before but LOVE paperfolding so I was really looking forward to doing the challenge.

I am also entering it into the Simon Says Stamp challenge which is Mother/Girly and I don't think I could get much girlier than this card, lol.

I coloured my Tilda using some of the new TH inks - Victorian Velvet and Bundled Sage. For the skin I used Antique Linen & Tattered Rose and for her hair I used Brushed Cordoroy.

The sentiment is a Studio G and I stamped it with Victorian Velvet, then I added a small rose to the centre and stickles around the edge.

All of my flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts

Image: Tilda (Winter Kit)

Stampin' for the Weekend / Stamp Something

Good morning all. Can you believe we are into March already. The months are just flying by!! It's still pretty cold here, not much sign of Spring at all :S

******************
As I'm nearing 20,000 hits on my blog (woot woot!!) watch out for a little celebration candy in the coming week -  as a big THANK YOU to all you wonderful bloggers who take time out of your day to come visit me. I love reading your comments and visiting all your fabulous blogs too.
*******************

Today I have 2 DT cards to share. This is quite a long post so grab a coffee and pull up a chair, lol.

First up is Stampin' for the Weekend and the challenge for this forthnight is to make a momochromatic project.

At this stage I think we all know what Monochromatic means but just in case..
"Monochromatic colors are all the colors (tints, tones and shades) of a single hue"

So basically it's one colour but different shades of that colour. These are the colours I used :)

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

and the prize up for grabs is a $25 coupon for the store. (You can click on the blinkie to be taken to the store)

We have a fabulous new guest DT member, Heather from Rica's Haven, and she will be joining us for the month of March. Please do pop over to leave her some love :)

Crafty Angels DT & challenges

This week on Crafty Angels we have a Photo Inspiration challenge for you. We also have a new DT and I am joined by two very talented ladies,  Shirley and Evonne.

This is the photograph that we'd like you to take your inspiration from...

And here is my entry.....

The photo reminded me of BG Indian Summer and I had a couple of 12x12's that I'd bought recently at a crop. I paired it with dusky pink cardstock and distress inked it with Vintage Photo. I coloured Tilda using distress inks and then I added stickles to her skirt and glossy accents to her hair bow. The heart border was made using my heartlace punch.

I am also entering this card into the Just Magnolia Challenge,  Friday Sketchers as I followed their sketch and another entry for ABC Challenges - O is for One Paper.

Papers: BG Indian Summer & Bazzil cardstock
Image: Magnolia's Tilda
Tools: Distress inks, McGill pine leaf punch, MS Heartlace punch, stickles, glossy accents.
Flowers, ribbon, brad & pearls from my stash

Have a great Monday!!
