Stampin' for the Weekend / Stamp Something

Good morning all. Can you believe we are into March already. The months are just flying by!! It's still pretty cold here, not much sign of Spring at all :S

******************
As I'm nearing 20,000 hits on my blog (woot woot!!) watch out for a little celebration candy in the coming week -  as a big THANK YOU to all you wonderful bloggers who take time out of your day to come visit me. I love reading your comments and visiting all your fabulous blogs too.
*******************

Today I have 2 DT cards to share. This is quite a long post so grab a coffee and pull up a chair, lol.

First up is Stampin' for the Weekend and the challenge for this forthnight is to make a momochromatic project.

At this stage I think we all know what Monochromatic means but just in case..
"Monochromatic colors are all the colors (tints, tones and shades) of a single hue"

So basically it's one colour but different shades of that colour. These are the colours I used :)

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

and the prize up for grabs is a $25 coupon for the store. (You can click on the blinkie to be taken to the store)

We have a fabulous new guest DT member, Heather from Rica's Haven, and she will be joining us for the month of March. Please do pop over to leave her some love :)

I am entering this card into a couple of challenges
Stamp with Fun as I used their Sketch
Papertake Weekly with their challenge "Brads, Buttons, Bows & Bling"

Papers: Papermania Nostalgia Warm, Coredinations cardstock
Image: Mo Manning "Rae with Journal"
Tools: Distress inks, circle & scalloped circle nesties, cuttlebug, swirls embossing folder, star dust stickles.
Ribbon, brads and button from my stash.

Next up is Stamp Something, and our challege this week is Girly Somethings.

We are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and the team are showcasing these wonderful digi images so please do visit the blog to see the other samples.

My image is coloured with copic markers and I've added some stickles to the bubbles. I inked the edges of the flowers and dirstress the papers with Victorian Velvet.

I will be entering this also into Simon Says Stamp Challenge which is Mother's Day or Girly.

Paper: Daisy D's - Maybe Baby Collection & PM cardstock
Image: Sassy Studio - Bubble Bath
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Tools: Distress inks, MS 2Dot scallop punch, stickles

Thanks for visiting me today and have a wonderful weekend!!
xXx

Congrats on all the hits! I knew when we started them yours was going to be popular. :)

These cards are lovely. They look womanly instead of kiddie like so many I see. Those bubbles on the digi are awesome. Beautiful work.
